If the dragon actually hits the reaper it should be game. If the dragon jumps into the air every other second it might be a lot harder.
Level 1-9 is rough, I don't have a full reliable strategy, but it works. (This is without having all units available, that's what I like making my strategies for). 3 kings total, 2 on bottom of the vampire, 1 at the top. 1 knight next to the lone king, put down a cannon in the way back, and put some halfling around the front to draw aggro. (restart if the reaper gets to any of the kings, it's a failed timeline)
For this strat to work, you have to control the cannon and deal with the reaper (I don't remember if there was a reaper in this level, I forgot to put what there was on my strat sheet) and the sword throwers.
If everything was done right, all that's left should be some skeleton warriors. You might have to retry a few times to get the RNG right but this has worked multiple times just not every time.
Spooky campaign is definitely rough compared to the others, this was the level that put me on my first time losing 10 times on a level. Kings can't be feared so they help a lot if the skeletons get lucky fears on other units.
I personally want to use strats that don't utilize controlling, but it's really difficult and frustrating to rely on the AI to make the right call on who to attack, so don't feel bad if you have to.
