have this on console...
Does this game have horrible fps issues on pc version, as the console version is unplayble and unwatchable due to this issue alone, even if you dont have a large army it's stuttering is so bad I couldn't stand it.

nvm I've looked at some reviews and people even with high end computers complain of very low fps, I'll wait for this to be in a better state and more content to keep me interested. 15 bucks is a bit steep for such an unfinished game that runs poorly for so many.

It doesn't run poorly, you just need to not put 250 units on each side. Your max is 50-100, and that's it.
There's already A HECK of a lot of content
15 bucks isn't bad at all for this - it's great

No - that's not what I meant.
It's NOT supposed to be able to hold 250.
On BOTH sides- 50-100
Not 250

My pc can do that with slo mo and it's such a bad pc

It definitely needs optimized somehow, I shouldn't be lagging with 200 units on the screen.

200 is overkill nobody's computer handles that

That's the problem

It should though.
Tabs could stand to be much more optimized.

they can't change it though. think about it. the game has too track every units movements and whats happening to it? is it stopping? is it moving? is it attacking? is it getting hit? is it hitting? the devs cant change it unless you want some units to stop moving and then carry on after some die

These are the same thing, couldn't help myself.

This is correct by the way

Then they shouldn't even allow you to go over 50 unites at all then, it breaks the experience, when I think of this kind of game, what I want to see is an epic battle of 2 huge armies going at it in a goofy way, but I cant do that so...for me it's not really worth buying until this is possible.

Maybe this kind of game isn't ready then?

I mean in lets say the total war series you can indeed have 2 very large armies and I have done this and had very little lag, but this game you cant even watch 2 somewhat small armies go at it without it lagging like crazy.

Just not fun to watch then.

Sure i think tabs could be optimized a bit but not by far. Tabs units are more than just a couple animations and stats, tabs units actually simulate things like swinging force, knockback from enemies, step distances/reaction to the ground, and ect. There’s a reason its called totally acccurate battle SIMULATOR.

btw just as a suggestion to get the “feeling” of a large battle I just spread out the units over a big map like simulation or ancient sandbox. That way units actually travel from their fights to different one’s and it kinda looks like a real army if you set up small sub divisions of units that later combine with other subdivisions to make a fight of the surviving last soldiers if each team.

I'll wait until it's in a better more finished state, but fielding only small battles just gets really boring fast.

There's more to TABS than just that :/
