Multiplayer/Co-op?
First off, let me just say that I absolutely love this game. It's hilariously fun, and I've cried from laughter on multiple occasions.

Maybe I missed an update goal, but are there any plans to open this game up to a 1v1 or perhaps a co-op setting? Even if it's just via friend invite, these could be really fun.

For 1v1, I imagine selecting a map, but not being able to see your opponent's side of the field until the fight starts. It would be random chaos, but could be a sort of "best 2/3" setting, where the winner of a round has limited changes they can make make, giving the opponent a more customizable chance to counter (think current Vs. AI maps but with progressive rounds).

For co-op, we would need some beefy AI generation - not an easy feat - but it could be fun giving each teammate a specific Faction or even a couple to choose from to beat a level.

I think these would really open up some unique scenarios and even help understand strengths/weaknesses of certain units/positioning.

Worst case, I hope the devs find a way to generate random AI fights. As much as I love this game, once you've beaten the campaigns and environment levels, it doesn't feel like there's much left to do besides replay the Adventure mode and be silly.

I've also suggested the "double blind" guessing game mode before, and my partner and I have had a blast playing it ourselves by carefully positioning the camera. Official support for it (like a simple fog-of-war toggle) would be very welcome.

The level of actual strategy involved is limited, since the only information you're given is the number of units placed and their sum total cost, but high-level strategy isn't really the point of this game, is it?

The end result of this game mode is both players get to witness a battle that neither of them could have seen coming. Hilarity for everyone involved.

Yes, nice! So please ask the devs to do so:

multiplayer-mode without network-code - please add this!

Hey devs, you only have to replace a hand-towl with black-screen - no network-code needed for multiplayer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWlwDP28H3E&feature=emb_title
Please add this!!!

So 1.0 is out and still no black-screen for the other player-mode. Please add it. In network game you can´t see what the other player added for units. Otherwise you can always change your setup - it will be endless. It´s a fun game, so make a fun mode plz.

The same in lokal multiplayer. Is has to be like this:
Player1 is setting up his units: Player 2 has to go out of the room.
Player 2 is setting up his units: Player1-units are non visible.

(so you don´t have to use a towl to hide your side of the screen like in the video 1 post above)

Well, here's the thing. If both players can see what the other unit is placing down. Then they'll forever be stuck trying to counter each other.

EX: I place down Muskets. Then the other player places down Samurai, so I deleted my Muskets right off the bat and place down Fencers. Then... I assume you get the point.

The best way to get through this is to introduce a coin flip for who places first. Aka, loser places first because the winner gets to counter them.
I literally predicted the future. lol

No, there is no blind-mode - i can´t find it. Do you have a screeny of that option?

it's not in the gameplay settings.
you can change the multiplayer game to blind mode in the multiplayer settings in the top left when you are in a multiplayer game.

yes. click the arrow on turnstyle

I only have this option there: https://i.imgur.com/wz3WERD.png

But it doesn´t turns the player1 units invisible or the map into black where the player1 units had been placed if player 2 is about to place his units.

Yes. There won't be a multiplayer, EVER. Stop asking, for the devs have a different view on the "multiplayer" aspect.

Damn these 2 guys got owned so hard lol, multiplayer games are always much better than singleplayer games and there is no way you can prove that wrong
