Can’t click “ok” to start the game

I click the mouse, I try pressing A, and I try with a controller but can’t get the game to start.

I’ve also restarted the computer and uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

My kid is freaking out.

Are the characters at the side of the screen?

Try verifying the game files (this will reset any mods you might have). Otherwise, i am sorry but i cannot help.

If you press tab on the keyboard it also starts it so maybe try that

There is a sort of lag before starting the game, just wait like a maximum of 30 secs and then try pressing ok

Are the club era different than the guys with spears? I see 2 guys with spears (one on each side) looking out from behind the intro box that welcomes me to tabs. They come quickly. Still no dice with clicking and waiting

Same here. I've tried all my controllers, keyboard, etc to make sure it wasn't exclusively using those inputs as well.

Edit: Just restarted it for the fifth time and it worked. Weird

One of the dev’s said there’s a problem with continuing from the menu with controller. I don’t use controller so I don’t know too much about the problem but I think you can’t play with controller right now because of this.

Edit: This may be an issue that has been solved, I’m not sure about it, though.

We're aware of this issue and are working on it, sorry for the inconvenience!

For now, you can try the following: If you have any controllers or other USB devices (like a racing wheel or a joystick) plugged in, please try to unplug it and start the game with only the mouse and keyboard.

This issue can also be caused by software that emulates inputs, for example something that lets you remap or change key bindings outside of games. Vjoy and PPJoy Joystick are programs known to cause this issue. Please try to uninstall any programs like this and see if that solves the issue.

@Beth - Thanks! I have a full sim racing rig...so unplugging is pretty involved. Thanks though and I look forward to the update.
