Any tips for "Three Bandit Gangs" (Wild West campaign, page 1)?

Thanks in advance for any useful tips. In particular the mix of units needed to get rid of cactuses while also killing gunslingers.

what i did is i used swordcasters and it took a few tries to get it right but it works. try to place them strategically and use any extra money

I sped through the following seven missions without any frustration at all.

Still haven't beaten "Three Bandit Gangs" without cheating (I used Cheat Engine and just increased my unit points so I could spam more Minotaurs -- will go back and try to beat it fairly again later). Either it has an obvious solution I'm missing (unit mix and/or initial position) or the unit points for the player could be increased a bit.

Interesting idea... I've used Swordcasters against cactii previously but they seemed underwhelming.

i used 2 or 3 king (i don't remenber exactly, it depends ofhow much money the game give beacuse i forgot) and i used what was left to get chieftains. i possed one king and destroyed everything.

3 jousters. Totally wipes the floor with them. They don't have a trouble with the dynamite (in fact usually they can make the dynamite kill all the dynamite throwers) and are strong enough to beat the cacti. Make sure they're targeting the different gangs. I added muskets too, but I don't think I needed them. If you're still having problems and don't mind using possession possess one of them and it will be easier. (unless I've mixed up the levels)
