The units are wobblers for starters, not humans.
But even then, plenty games and movies with violence that have no or little blood. Blood & gore is a stylistic choice, not a requirement.
If someone chooses to mod the game they paid for, then that is well within their right. Part of why games like Skyrim or Fallout are so successful is due to mods. It can be really healthy for a game community to support modding.
Personally I wouldn't get a mod for blood myself. But for OP, it would enhance the experience for them, even if it is outside of the core experience.
There is an interesting overlap between the TABS and PPG community.
