Worth a buy?
i was checking the reviews but most of the people writing reviews for this game have only an hour or two. is this game so funny that people will write a review saying how fun it is and never pick it up again? i know the game is more for laughs but is there enough to buy?

but it has been in early access for a while now?
No but it was in development for almost 3 years with a few free public alphas and betas

It will be fun once they added more faction, and particularly first person mode. Which added the game and its wacky physic greatly.

Once they added all that it's basically a steal at full price.

I have completed all story campaigns (there is three of them, 2 with 20 levels and 1 with 50 levels. I would say its definetly worth the price. You can complete the campaigns as often as you want. Sandbox mode is basicaly infinite money and you can set up an army at both the red and the blue team. For every faction there is an additional sandbox map exclusive to sandbox which is just a massive map! Also exclusive to sandbox is a plain surface map, just a big ol testing ground.

I hope this helps!

ehhh . .depends. I bought it just because it looked cool and it is cool. I played it for a couple hours but I doubt I will play it much more until they release some updates. There's not that much to it at this point - you set out some guys and watch them fight. I could see the game becoming much more interesting if they add more tools to build and set out your armies, more nuanced campaigns, more interesting maps, etc. A multiplayer feature could be fun, too.

It is very cheap right now, but later, they plan to raise the price substantially. So, I would buy it now since when you buy early access, you usually get the full release for free.

100% worth buying if you enjoy AI battle kind of games, not to mention the hype with every new update bringing a faction and possibly more along.

I don't have the game myself, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

As someone who was quick to download the Pre-Alpha three years ago and have been waiting ever since, this release has come as a huge disappointment.

~60% (Or more, since there are around 30 units in the game, so actually maybe even up to ~90%) of the game has been either cut out or being re-implemented.

Why is this? Because they decided to change to a different (Better) engine, which calls for a remake of almost everything in the game.

Sure the game is no doubt fun, but the point stands, there were more units 3 years ago than there are now? Doesn't that say something? 3 Years of progress and the graphics, sounds, UI are the only things to change, and the unit count (Pretty much the appeal of the game) has literally decreased from 3 years ago.

If they make an update in a week or two adding 30 units in (Pretty much the amount there is now, so doubling the content of the game) I will take back everything I said and gladly throw my money at them.

But in the current situation, where instead of making 2 versions of the game such as PUBG, Rainbow Six siege and countless other games, they decided to only release one, unfinished version.

tl:dr No, I would reccomend you wait at least a month to make sure that you are getting what they have been promising for these 3 years.
