BREAKING NEWS : No western for TABS, TABG update and more !

After the release of TABS on XBOX Game Pass, Landfall answered some questions on their Twitter account.

Here's what we learned :
- New music can be heared in the release announcement video.
- Devs are taking a break for christmas :)
- No new unit this month.
- The game is aiming for a Q2 2020 release, around E3 2020.
- Around 20 maps will be on the game's launch, there's already 18 maps in the game.
- A "F2P" update is coming to TABG
- PS4 and Switch version will launch after Q2 2020 release, maybe an E3 announcement ?
- XBOX achievements will be added after Game Preview
- Unit creator and faction creator are being worked on a lot.
- The game's rating will be PEGI 7 and USRB Teen.
- Unit number limitation is confirmed to not be inside the game at this point. Whether it will come at one point is not confirmed yet.
- Simulation 2, 3, 4 and 5 are confirmed as part of the remaining maps.
- Switch and PS4 release after Early Access.


Website update :
- There is 1 more faction coming to the game before launch.
- The sentence saying that there will be "modern-day weaponry" has been replaced.


Discord news :
- TABG guns are heading to TABS Unit Editor.
- Secret stuff is coming for next year's Landfall April Fool !
- Don't expect much changes after TABS's release, Botten Hanna replied to "clustertruck ded game" by saying :
"We cannot update a game forever, after the biggest bugs etc are done and maybe after a couple of content updates the game is done. We're not doing games as a service/subscription"
- No plateform-exclusive units for TABS.


What we already know :
- Next update is supposed to be launched by the end of December or the beginning of January.
- Next faction is NOT western.
- Totally Accurate games will be represented in TABS as the Custom Unit editor will include stuff from those games.

I'm from the datamining server and I datamined the game along with others. Both files and devs confirms that it will not be western. We got crazy stuff coming to the game but nothing leads to western faction. Plus the "modern-day weaponry" got replaced meaning they are deconfirming modern-day units like gun focused factions like western, WW. Neon is kinda more of a "future-day weaponry" not modern-day so there might still be a possibility of Neon's return.

Just one until launch. Then they can add more. But that is most likely not happening.

Yeah I forgot to add this. Western is most likely not being worked on at all.

hearing that they are working on Unit and Campaign creator alot makes me happy because i have trouble sleeping because how excited i am for it to come out and also from a theory i made on another discussion i belive it will definetly now come before summer :D

I don't care if modern is scrapped but I want me a WW2 map so I can do a "going over the top" trench run with a hobbit
