mirror shields.
i had an interesting observation while rewatching Wil's mirror shield gif (i rewatch all of his gifs atleast 10 times) i was following the arrows in slow motion, looking at their structure and how they look like normal arrows instead of wierd rectangular prisms, assuming taht they hit the archers at random. then i scrolled through the comments. someone guessed that it used a pretty complicated method to send the arrows back, but Wil replied that he only inverted the velocity. i thought that was cool then i went back to watching. i saw them all float up, and noticed how one was caught by the hand. i watched again, and realised that they were all caught by their hands. their hands are also the source of the arrow. this means that the game isnt totally accurate anymore because normal arrows would lose velocity over time, but it also means that any arrow hit by the shield has a 100% chance of hitting the archer who fired it if there arent any obstacles. also the arrows arched pretty hard, so to whoever said they only arch over allies, your wrong. what i mean is that mirror shields are without a doubt the best counter to archers ever. please make the velocity drop and the arrow's aim based on the direction the shields faceing. i want an accurate game.

mirror shield vs mirror shield. also if an arrow got caught between two it would go forever if they didnt move.

meh, I think its not a full counter depending on if the archer fires an actual projectile (aka: holy archer and tesla archer)

the archers missed 3 arrows. 3 archers lived. the lucky ones are the poor aimers.

Yeh they should make them bounce back in the direction they have at. I mean, if the first game ever made --Pong-- a game about ping-pong can do it then surely Landfall can :steamhappy:

hey, would you look at that! Now mirror sheilds are not op super units to peeps with projectiles, so yea... now their sheilds break after plenty of shots, so they dream of tabs tennis may be over now in the vanila game, so that may be sad, but Im exceptionly happy about it

ive seen. the reign of the mirror ends. i wonder how many. i mean, even 3 shots is OP, as it deals an archers damage exactly against that archer.

explosives should insta-break them. well, any attack should. any metal attack. exept arrows. well, arows are metal...maybe any attack should be reflected. wouldnt it be cool if a sword bounced off with the same force it hit with. explosives though.

hummm... the bigger the mirror, the larger the deflecting force, the smaller the integrity. maybe every attack damages a meter, so a larger mirror would insta break from a catapult ball, whilst a reenforced one will bounce it. the big one will break after 3 hits, the smaller one might break after 7. its interesting. hopefully we can all edit this.

I think we can edit the size of the sheilds, but not the sheilds themselves
