SteamVR Tracking HDK

SteamVR Tracking HDK

Shoto HDK "sensorcheck" no update
I struggled to find a solution to this problem so maybe others can benefit from my experience...

We recently purchased a Shoto HDK from Triad Semiconductor. After following the setup instructions here {LINK REMOVED} including updating the HDK configuration using the file 'shoto_4231_update.json' the sensorcheck command only returned a value of 1 and no sensor data. After struggling with this for some time and receiving no response from Triad I compared the json config file to that of a Vive tracker puck. The problem appears to be in line 170 of the json file. After changing this line from "sensor_env_on_pin_a":"0xFFFFFFFF" to "sensor_env_on_pin_a":"0x00000000" I am now able to acquire sensor data via the sensorcheck command for all 26 sensors.

You will find some further discussion of the sensor_env_on_pin_a on this discussion board and some information on the Triad website.

Hi Micheal ! Were you able to boot up your tracker in SteamVR ? For me, SteamVR finds the tracker object but it shows up as a blinking controller. It says controller connected but not tracking.
