Abyssal forge crashing

The game constantly crashes when versing the final boss, the abyssal forge. It always crashes near the final stages of the battle, with the boss on no more than a quarter health. I think the games crashing due to abundance of stuff going on during the battle i.e. lots of lava engulfing the screen. Is there any work around this? It's quite annoying battling this boss already and I don't want to have to keep on doing it (4th time now).

Game has a known crash problem with save files with 300k or over ,probably you are at border and with auto-loot passing 300k limit .
Go to your C:\Users\XXXXXX\Documents\My Games\Darksiders2 folder and look to folder with has name with numbers (it is your steam id number ) look to dssave0.dsav -dssave5.dsav files wht is their file size ?If your files close to 300k disable auto-loot and try again ,lets see if youll crash than

Ended turning off V-sync/disabled anti-virus. It seemed to do the trick, don't know why but it did.
