The short version is: close & restart Steam after playing Darksiders. Silly I know, but I have some missed achievments and since knowing and doing this all achievements have been working for me.
I've not played the second game yet, but that's my impressions of War so far.
By the way, there's a comic that comes with the game ( http://www.slideshare.net/juanmiguelmontesmartin/darksiders-comic )
I'm a long way into the game, just got the 4th heart, but I don't see what the Watcher actually does. Occasionally he's popped up after a battle saying 'over here', but I don't feel like I'm being bady-sat at all. Maybe I've just kept right to the plot and don't do anything wrong ? Only very rarely has he said 'Don't make me call you again' when I've been chasing down a chest. But even then I've not come straight away and the Watcher still never did anything to punish me. Am I missing something ?
No, I don't think you did. I'm sure that right before War was sent back, the Council guy said the Watcher's job was to keep War in line. It's jsut that up til now it seems like a redundant statement from the Council guy. Not to worry, at least I know I've not missed something in the game.
i was very sad to know the company shut down and sold the rights. i do not trust anyone new with this project, just like i dont trust battlefront 3: battlefield with lazors.
