To the developers, this is their job, their income and every amount of time spent on their projects is them working at their jobs, so it seems reasonable that they be paid for doing it.
As long as questions are actually answered for the fee I think it is a great way for adult gamers to actually get some of the info they themselves would like about the game.
I hope this works out for the devs, it seems like a good idea after getting over the intial beaten and whipped consumer reaction we all are bound to have.
That is the thing though, 'answering the question'.
It requires that both the questioner and responder have realistic expectations.
With only ten minutes, there ain't a lot of time to make a detailed response to a pithy inquiry.
So for a reasonable reply, the questions themselves have to be short, to the point, and easily answered.
The issue I see is how many 'griefers' don't mind spending twenty bucks or more just to be salty.
I believe that there aren't that many.
I wonder if Clapfoot has the same view.
