People keep taking my vehicles even though those are locked

I'm really getting annoyed with this. In the 2 days I've played this game I've lost at least 5 vehicles that I parked in rather bussy towns while I was doing other logi work.

What's the point of locking vehicles if other people can take them anyway?

Go to a Seaport or a Storage Depot and create a Reserve Stockpile and put your vehicles in there if you want to keep something till later. You can only store what you or your regiment created in to the reserve stockpile and vehicles that go boom can only be stored in a public stockpile. The freedom you will get as logistics with a reserve stockpile is really nice.

The Wrench will allow people to disable the lock in a vehicle. I understand your frustration, but it is a good feature. Otherwise things get... really clogged. Anyway, if you have a flatbed or something in demand like that, you need to keep an eye on it. And fyi: to unlock a locked vehicle, you need to crouch using the "c" key, and use a wrench on it.
