Wardens weapons
why they are so bad compared to the colonials arsenal?

Way too vague a statement lol. We have several guns better than their counterparts, and vice versa.
played both sides, its a wash, i prefer warden tanks, the warden sniper rifle, the loughcaster, the smg for wardens feels better for some examples.

Prefer collies arty, love the GL, and bombas

I think both sides have fun things, but if you don't like what equipment the wardens have just play collies next war! :p

Colonials have better infantry weapons across the board, but the Warden equivalents are for the most part only worse by a small margin, with the Mounted Bonesaw and the Harpa being notable exceptions. Best parity between factions is probably in infantry PvE. Lunaires can put out some insane damage and easily destroy emplaced weapons from beyond visible range at night, and even sometimes kill concrete for free if the terrain permits, but Cutlers have range to kill massive concrete pieces from the edge of AI range and can be used against light vehicles.

As a collie I got numerous opportunities to play with warden weapons. There isn't a considerable difference between most of the standard guns that can't be helped/hindered by positioning.

The old design was that colonial were the the aggressive infantry based faction and wardens were the defensive vehicle based faction. The devs changed this by buffing the colonial tanks health and armor by 50% each, however they never modified the infantry weapons of the wardens to compensate for this. This is the reason colonials win the early game of every war. No one wants to play Loughcaster Harpa into Argenti Bombastone.

Honestly my main dislike between the factions is the default rifle of both. The collie semi rifle is simply superior for the slight loss of range, that amounts to nothing. The warden bolt is a long aim, not accurate, and damage is also mid at best for the "benefit" gains of a pin needle's width of extra range distance. The collie rifle has a decent fire rate, the same accuracy or slightly more spread, and faster aim stability. The collie rifle is the better choice for frontline work or combat in general.

I rather both factions had a version of both these weapons by default baseline. Cheap and mass produced. One for defense such as the warden lolcaster and one for assault like the collie argent. Even if both factions had the same starting rifle it would be better than the current mix mash of "balance" we have now.

That is about my biggest gripe about the game's balance. Other than the collies having very specific ww2 german style weapons as american/russian themed. While the wardens are the german/french theme; lacking german theme most of the time... but the more content that comes out its more like the collies are ww2 and the wardens are ww1 in theme.

Yeah I could see that as well. A mix of ww1 up to ww2 for the wardens.
