*sigh* Yea you're right there.
Squad locking a stockpile doesn't work if the refresh button is somehow missed. It's simply a matter of time before you are distracted with some other game mechanic, forget about a particular facility, and viola! That facility you built is permanently public. Stupid.
Why would I build and store arty rounds for my own use, only to open them up for someone else? Some reason that you would be incapable of making your own? There seems to be a disconnect in reality here. Getting arty rounds or anything else requires an investment of RL time. It's not even that hard to do. Yet you can't spend 30 mins building a storage facility for the rounds? You want someone else to do it for you, so you can get more enjoyment while they do the work making it and putting it on pallets? Yeah, I don't think so.
