solos are good for intel finding and doing things like public logi and helping with building and arty work, you be a asset in the trenches as well and find it easy to take part in pushes
the only thing ppl get picky about is tanks and boats
This is worse than most other such games.
Answer: join a squad.
Also its awfully balanced, go Colonials. They are designed to win (literally better in every way: map, weather, and weapons all favour Colonials).
Some one is salty. I prefer warden tanks and gear personally. Also good luck freezing to death Baby eater.
Making your own solo facility is very much possible but not recommended.
Playing artillery/tanker requires a bit more finesse and a massive amount of charisma before they let you sit in one with no problems.
Playing logi in my experience is a mixed bag. If you play it right, you can find a truck that's for free use and you can start your logi experience and you'll have people thanking you.
Or you have to inform people running logi at the moment before you take a truck or else you can end up with a bullet in your character's head.
Or lastly, you get accused of being an alt, shot at, and probably mass reported.
That's why when in doubt, tell logi chat if they need anyone ferrying supplies around and someone will almost definitely take you in for your logi run.
Long story short, you can operate just fine without being part of any clans. Once you learn the game, you will come to understand why players gravitate towards regiments to be able to coordinate efforts to accomplish large scale operations. Being part of a clan is an option, not a requirement, depending on the types of content you want access to, or control over.
