I think yes. This game may give unforgetteble emotions if you join to some clan. Solo/duo players often can't realized this game
By the way some clans may ask discipline

Honestly, until they fix the lag issues I'd wait

Just for the future, mostly positive dont mean anything. There are plenty of bad games with good reviews. Like say planetside 2, rising world, dragon age veilguard, mabye concord.
Its good you asked on the forum, since steam reviews hardly means anything. Digging deeper is a must.

Edit: If you have watched youtube videos, and you guys liked it, give it a shot, and if you dont like it. You could refund befor the 2 hour mark.

there will always be a lag if you not live in the country where server hosted, there no way to fix that right now unless you use ping booster
my only issue with this game is the toxic clans yes they can be nice but if you even do something slightly wrong you will get screamed at by 40 year old men

I do it the same way, years ago. No experience, but I want it. There is a lot to learn, but the basics are not difficult. If you got a buddy, it's a bit easier. Have fun.

Steep learning curve, lots of communication involved, lot a roles in game, very unique, also it'll take your soul.

No. Game balance is much worse than it used to be, green only lose if they get bored. They have better arty, tanks, grenades, shotguns (wildly OP with 3 x the ammo of warden ones), anti-structure explosives (Hydras) and can fire anti structure grenades with a hand launcher that Wardens can only use from a bad vehicle. All in all, its an intriguing game but the balance is trash. Devs might fix that, but they keep improving Green so ... yeah, don't buy it for now, as there are some good battles but they tend to be few and very far between, most of the game is 3 am asset damage using flamethrowers, luniaire, RPG, or rocket RPG jeeps.

Oh and the map is designed for Colonials to win, such as the critical port of Mercy's Wish not having a naval gun so it always gets obliterated by colonial gunboats. Honestly the devs made a new map for their naval update, and naval ships are a ton of fun, only I was sad to see they forgot to add more well, ocean - either side can win without any ships at all.

Maybe look again when the Airborne update is out, but if the devs don't fix the balance you get the choice of green, and never being more than a zergling, or blue, and always losing with a 5:1 player numbers imbalance. Wardens do win things at times, but typically only when a Green regiment chooses to play Blue. The game mechanics are such that new players effectively have no chance against veterans: there is no defence you can build that veterans cannot destroy while you are offline, and previously Colonials have gone to the extent of knowing the time zone of the primary defending regiment so they can attack at 3am Polish time, for example. Cheating is also, sadly, very common.

Per FoxholeStats the data over many wars "Strongly suggests population imbalance plays one of the biggest roles in war outcome." True.

they yell even when you do right but they mostly shut up if you yell back, and if you are doing right other players nearby will back u up- the yellers are mostly pve chads that no one respects that wander in from low pop backlines to do 15 minutes of larping

is why i play frontline there are way less rage tards there, they come up from to larp but we shout them back to backline- they cant effectively larp as rage tard when there are enemy close by trying to kill them

I'm not saying that there are no balance issues (although asymmetry in some aspects can be good! Look at the Aliens vs Predator games, for example), but you seem to have your warden to collie win ratio mixed up. Wardens have 64 victories and collies 59 over the entire game. And the last ten wars have literally been 50-50 split of who won

game is ok, but its content is lacking.
the stalemate is rough, its worse if you don't have a clan.

They need to add more destructible structure and start allowing people to produce AI soilder so logi actually meant something and warfare is less boring.
