The armor increase of Heavy Trucks is nice and all, but I would expect more carrying capacity as well. Especially when you compare a Dunne to a Cnute in size.
Logi in general needs some love and a rework, at least in my opinion. It often feels unnecessary tedious.
I would like to see liquid containers increased to 250 capacity so you don't have to do 5 trips to fill a transfer station
Let the loadlugger hitch trailers
Introduce a trailer to the game that can carry crates and general items
Trucks should also not be reduced to snails pace because they are hitching something. If you want to bring field gun to a front with the dunne you drive slower than an infantryman can run
As they are trailers should be midgame buff to logi but they are too niche, too hard to use, and maybe too expensive. The only trailers that have some kind of use in the game right now are facility locked so you will hardly ever see them in public
It should be considered that a container can hold 300 of those in crates, a pallet only holds 120.
Logistics is the most important aspect of this game and the dev makes it harder everytime he adds more items, current limitations and capacities simply aren't enough anymore. Facilities and frontlines demand more and more materials, whilst the number of players is still capped/limited. This means for me that devman either makes logistics easier or player burnout will continue to increase.
My solutions:
- more carrying capacity for late game logistic vehicles
- new vehicles for long range liquid transportation, specialised ships and train carts
- a slight increase in pallet capacity
- the ability to crate certain large items, barbed wire, tripods etc. from facility stockpiles
- a new trailer that carries regular crates
- reevaluation of crate sizes and container capacities in general
fuel-runner only 25 and it really sucks barely enough to fill a mine. 40 would be more like it at the very least. as is they barely get used anymore except maybe to pull and fill a liquid container.
Speaking of Pulls the Pull time on public when i went to grab Shirts was just Atrocious.
They want Public Supplies but Then They keep such a negative incentive to use personal Stockpiles in the Game unchanged.
Maybe even an Auto Fill until full Button Would be necessary similar to saved Load outs.
Depot having at least 1 if not 2 slots of dedicated personal storage though that is probably a pipe dream would still be nice to not have to hunt down Flatbeds that no one likes to return to town then i cant fill Tanks of Fuel unless i make sure to get on every day to be sure i Don't Miss resetting Personal Stockpile. Otherwise i might not mind other supplies going public i might still decide to let it go and take a few days away. Otherwise it is best to Mass Produce and Keep a few flat beds for myself but then That Means i am Not Mass Producing To Public. Though They Could Also Make Separate Ques With only 1 allowed To be Producing At a Given Time.
Also Explosive Powder Crates Really Suck so Shipping in Cargo Truck is more Viable Than Shipping Containers barely being more to deliver by Boat or Train making it Less Likely People Will use More than 1 refinery and Bring To mass Production Areas or a Mid-line Factory needing to worry about Again Needing Flatbeds and potential risk of no available Cranes.
