sometimes, i'll even wait in a bush for half an hour just to blow up an enemy logi truck!
this game requires patience, and an understanding of what can help the war effort at that specific moment wherever you might be. that knowledge comes with experience; fighting through multiple wars, whether you are losing or winning.
Personally, i love doing logi. Any kind of logi. Resource gathering, production, transportation, it's all super satisfying because i know at the end of the day; the actions that i take help my peers and delay my enemy. I don't need a flashy screen with a hitbox marker and gambling to stimulate my feel good chemicals, it comes when i achieve a goal that i set out for myself, at the benefit of my whole team.
sorry to see you ago, but you dont seem to have a good attitude, so nothing of value was lost.
So unless the game is like a second job, your brain is fried by tiktok and fortnite.
You're not very wise.
Some people don't have time to wait 30 minutes to do a meaningless task in the grand scheme of a war, they'd rather do it within half or even less of that time. This game you're treating like a second job at that rate with how some people are with it.
And that is fine!
You are allowed to not like the game, but that wasn't your premise. Your premise was that
1. The game IS boring
2. Berating those that do like the game for having our own preferences.
People have different opinions on what is, or isn't, fun and again: that is fine; that is allowed.
You are picking fights because people have a different opinion and to me, that seems so silly. Why not play a game that you prefer, or engage with a game's gaming base that you enjoy?
One of my favourite things, is to participate in a naval landing OP. It requires so much organisation, a bunch of time just waiting around and an almost guarantee that it will end in total disaster. But camraderie you build up with your fellow soldiers during the entire operation, and to have that small chance to have a successful landing and achieve your objectives! I will respond to every single call for a landing operation with enthusiasm and do my part!
You know at least you're civil with your response. I was expecting a half-toxic response but I appreciate your feedback. I don't think I'm berating people over their preferences, I just don't like understand how people like me (who are in University and have a job) could bother to put so many hours in one game to achieve one task that might not do much in the grand scheme of things just for adrenaline or whatever.
And I have a valid stance on this because I'm not the only person who's like this with multiple jobs and at University trying to get the most out of whatever time I can with this game and it just seems stale in comparison to other games. With all due respect.
Most of my dopimane from this game is like waiting 3 weeks into the war, because middle tech is pretty much meta point for fun.
