Foxhole

Foxhole

This game is boring.
Haven't any of you done homework before? Why are you guys playing logistics homework simulator in this game? Video games are supposed to be fun, not monotonous. :VSnake:

You say as you're now playing Helldivers 2 after not even 3 hours of foxhole. Okay man, it's sure lots of fun to be playing a totally separate game that's 1 billion times more fun than this one lol. Fr, this game is boring and you're just providing proof of that.

my dopamine receptors arent fried by tiktok/fortnite loops so i can do logi and still feel satisfied!

sometimes, i'll even wait in a bush for half an hour just to blow up an enemy logi truck!

this game requires patience, and an understanding of what can help the war effort at that specific moment wherever you might be. that knowledge comes with experience; fighting through multiple wars, whether you are losing or winning.

Personally, i love doing logi. Any kind of logi. Resource gathering, production, transportation, it's all super satisfying because i know at the end of the day; the actions that i take help my peers and delay my enemy. I don't need a flashy screen with a hitbox marker and gambling to stimulate my feel good chemicals, it comes when i achieve a goal that i set out for myself, at the benefit of my whole team.

sorry to see you ago, but you dont seem to have a good attitude, so nothing of value was lost.
not every one does logi and that's fine

So unless the game is like a second job, your brain is fried by tiktok and fortnite.
You're not very wise.

Some people don't have time to wait 30 minutes to do a meaningless task in the grand scheme of a war, they'd rather do it within half or even less of that time. This game you're treating like a second job at that rate with how some people are with it.

Sounds to me like you just can't afford it. Go get that second job then POOR BOY! It will be time better spent over you lamenting about aspects of a video game. No one cares about your negative attitude.

Oh boy, once we did lurk around in a submarine for 3 hours until we caught a destroyer parking in Terminus. The wait and the cost of your prey makes it so good. Got adrenaline rushes like i only got in Eve

And that is fine!
You are allowed to not like the game, but that wasn't your premise. Your premise was that
1. The game IS boring
2. Berating those that do like the game for having our own preferences.

People have different opinions on what is, or isn't, fun and again: that is fine; that is allowed.
You are picking fights because people have a different opinion and to me, that seems so silly. Why not play a game that you prefer, or engage with a game's gaming base that you enjoy?

One of my favourite things, is to participate in a naval landing OP. It requires so much organisation, a bunch of time just waiting around and an almost guarantee that it will end in total disaster. But camraderie you build up with your fellow soldiers during the entire operation, and to have that small chance to have a successful landing and achieve your objectives! I will respond to every single call for a landing operation with enthusiasm and do my part!

I like doing boring logistics while listening to audiobooks.

You know at least you're civil with your response. I was expecting a half-toxic response but I appreciate your feedback. I don't think I'm berating people over their preferences, I just don't like understand how people like me (who are in University and have a job) could bother to put so many hours in one game to achieve one task that might not do much in the grand scheme of things just for adrenaline or whatever.

And I have a valid stance on this because I'm not the only person who's like this with multiple jobs and at University trying to get the most out of whatever time I can with this game and it just seems stale in comparison to other games. With all due respect. :VSnake:

naa the game is fun and dynamic, Most of the community are great you just get the odd foolish player here and there or ones who want to use every advantage they can get to manipulate the game to their will. The devs make fairly decent updates but some questionable choices like ending the past war when both sides where at a alleged stalemate with maxed tech IMHO both sides had a final gamble and worked towards it that would of made some great content to promote the game only it all went down the drain with devs ending it
You pick you flavor of bridge battle or open battle, hopefully have some cool (Brain-d I mean competent yet reasonable people there) To help you move or defend the front. Simple as.
Most of my dopimane from this game is like waiting 3 weeks into the war, because middle tech is pretty much meta point for fun.
