Devs don't respect players time, because in 90 minutes I managed to produce 0 logistics trucks since the walk is so long to get anywhere, encumbrance mechanic hinders this further. I want to play a game, not walking simulator. There were no publicly available logistic trucks parked or in the storage's either.
Anyway, in the end I gave up and refunded the game for now. I will get the game again when it's on sale and also has the bloody buildings placed near to each other instead of miles and miles apart. I can't do logistics without a truck and the devs make it super hard to get one, should be one of the easiest things in the game to get, but instead is one of the hardest to get in a timely manner.
I guess there's the fighting side of the game to play, but that's only half the reason I bought the game, other half was to contribute via logistics which takes too long to even get started due to what I already explained.
I found a place with all three close and made a hauler but it was at the very end of the map. So I made my truck, drove to the center of the map for at least 30-40 mins, drove to an area that didn't seem to need resources and wasn't seeing much action and now I gotta get to bed lol. Probably log in tomorrow and my truck will be gone and have to do it again.
Logi stuff is also why I got the game. I want to play PTSD Truck Simulator:2024. Thousands of other games I can play if I want to shoot stuff.
You don't have to build a new truck every time you wish to do logistics, look into seaports or storage depot to find public vehicles. Also to find more help and answers I'll advice you to look for a regiment, all have their logi manager who will be happy to teach you!
Logistics is a huge domain of this game and every small bit helps the common effort of the faction!
Easy.
Just note private stockpiles release into public after 48 hours if you do not manually refresh them.
