And yes, a collie luniaire launcher fires gas further and faster than wardens can, so they win bridge fight after bridge fight with it. Unbalanced BS game, with the joke being that the devs think they are improving it.
Did you know that a collie bombastone can land underwater, and still cause bleeding to a warden on the land, or on top of a bridge and still cause a bleed to a warden in hard cover to the side of the bridge? It's stunningly bad coding - line of sight? No we gave collies a portable mortar round.
Oh and yes, the luniaires still rain down. So naturally, the wardens at places like Treasury gave up on bunkers and made a trench labrynth with railway track walls instead.
Quality game ... maybe in 2080.
Except at night, you cannot see 45m but the luniaire can still see the bunkers they delete.
Remember when the devs reduce how far bunkers and pills could see at night?
That made the luniaire godlike.
For me what kills the fun is the bomas. WW2 had a lot of trench fights, but as a vet warden, the first thing you learn is remove trenches.
Hope one day devs fix the bomas so i can comeback to play infantry. Otherwise wardens need to spam tanks because is the only thing playable for wardens.
A collie sub even shot a frigate three times, and it lived - until the collie DD got it. Quite simply, we should not bother building bases at all and focus just on tanks, mines, stickies and frigates.
You're spot on about the bomas. Collies even seem really annoyed when we use them on their positions. But you are wrong about lunaire - the ability to place gas perfectly is just delicious. With all respect to your "organized crew" comment, luniaire and tremola is still an OP weapon system - that we were using to smash up collie bunkers as recently as today, particularly with bridges and coastline rocks there is usually hard cover you can fire those from behind, without any risk of AI replying. And gas spam and a malone takes care of "organized crew".
>not realizing cutler with uniform does 60% damage than lunaire with uniform
Like on a scale of 1-10, 1 being a bad mood, this topic started off at around a 3.. Then apparently you got Treasury, and with it a treasure of luniaires, and the posts here turned into ~7's. Then here it goes down to like 3-4 again.
And here it goes up to 6-7 again.
Just an observation :)
But boomas balance you can't say anything because needs to be rebalanced.
Dev adressed the unbalance on warde tanks last patch, now he needs to fix collie infantry.
As for warden tanks being "unblanced"? They get totally overwhelmed by Collie tanks still, if the Devs tried to rebalance them, that just makes the devs look even less competent - Collie tanks are still better (health/survivability), cheaper to make, longer ranges, and quite simply ridiculously overpowered. Ballista rushes with 2 crew each tank simply demolish anything out of range of large ship deletion. Sorry, if this is the "new balance" ... its a joke.
Bomba should be matched to Harpa, so both have the same range and explosive delay.
None of this "Green hand grenades are always better" nonsense - and both should have their ranged reduced to 20m.
Also tripod mounted machine guns ... why does a Collie one do double the damage of the Warden one?
You guys might think you are doing brilliantly winning the war. Hate to say it, green should win every war in under 21 days with the balance the way it is.
