I saw reviews that said the game was boring, and I saw that it was on an acceptable promotion. I ask you if a person with just over 3 hours a day should play this.

Pick and choose what you want to do, go be frontline junkie or sign up to be first time tanker, its all on you.
However
Being clan slave has its benfits and cons.
-Mass produce anything- spend 3 hours mining coal.
(Hopefully they still do the give and take method).

No 3 hours a day is not worth it. Because of dev's making many stupid decisions everything became a chore so in 3 hours you either zerg front lines and die a lot pointlessly or manage to do couple boring runs. Joining clans requires a lot of involvement and time since they plan lots of things so having 3 hours a day is basically not having any time at all.

you can just go to frontlines help pickup loot and drop it back in base, get on do something constructive then go.

you can join and quit game anytime. you can join, fight 30min at the frontline and quit game. no problem. 3 hours a day is more than enough time for anything.

I bought the game because of a friend who plays with me, I understand. Even if I play little, I'll still have fun. I found the idea of ​​a war driven by players and not by an AI interesting.

Anyway, it's just a beginner's opinion. Don't take it too seriously, because it can change over time.

3 hours solo a day is enough to do anything you want. You are of course limited but not by much.

Work together and you can get things done. Figure out how to source already made things from nearby instead of making everything yourself. Check depots and ports, scout out some likely positions of equipment. Ask in region chat about things.

You can easily do:
Infantry
Frontline field engineer (building and digging)
Tank hunting squad
Arty - find the gun and shells
Tanks - "borrow" an unused tank

3 hours, a microphone, and basic communication will make this game much more fun then just spawn die spawn die.

The only people who will tell you that 3 hours isn't enough are the ones who take the game too seriously. Hop on, run some Logi, pick up some binoculars and spot for a Mortar (or pick up a mortar and look for a spotter), grab a Medic uniform and run back and forth healing on the frontlines, run around with nothing and fill your pockets with items scavenged from dead players to resupply base. Anything you do will help, as long as you do it smart.

Of course it's fun, as long as you pick something to do that you enjoy :)
You do not need any particular level of time investment to enjoy Foxhole (like 3hrs or more). There are many things that you could do to help the war effort and the bigger things aren't done solo anyway, so whatever amount of time you can contribute is always helpful :)

3 hours a day won't really get anything done in game but it doesn't matter as long as you don't care. The game has MASSIVE grind walls for almost everything now where you will spend about one hour clicking and waiting on percentage bars to fill while standing still for each 2 hours of gameplay

Servers have been at an all time low-performance this war. Unplayable at times. We'll see if they fix anything for next patch I guess.

If you want a better picture of the game situation, I recommend repeating your question on the reddit. This steam forum is pretty dead; the reddit is thriving and you'll get a ton more responses.

As for the Cyrillic: the player community of Foxhole is very international. There are a ton of Russian players, a ton of Chinese players, French, German, Latin Americans, along with plenty of others (including US, Canadian, British, etc.)

I think that is a positive thing, rather than a negative thing. Even if that leads to communication obstacles at times.

3 hours is fine as an infantry-man on the frontlines. Just be sure to coordinate with other people and you'll do just fine. Logi? no. That's a full-time job. Tanker? depends. If your crew is good and you have mic? yes. if not? no. Artillery? with mic? yes. without mic? no. Partisan takes upwards of half an hour just to get to where you wanna be, and then it can be wuite a bit of waiting before you can get your prey, but once you do you will cause untold amounts of damage to the other side.

Being a partisan/saboteur in this game is like being Mayhem from the Allstate commercials. That's your job. Your job is to embrace your inner loki and put on the mask and raise hell. takes a long time to do, high failure rate, but you will have some of the best moments possible as a solo player. Everything is better with friends, and if you can get a buddy to join from the frontlines, you drink beer and go fishing metaphorically... except the beer. that part is literal.
