Report a translation problem
You can most readily notice this when an important Town Hall changes side after a long siege. Immediately after capturing the TH, you will usually see a few people with shovels digging out the artillery craters, so that defenses can be built there.
we are talking an entire subregion (the sub-division of an Hex) changing color from either green or white to gray ash.
If you see players digging them, they are actually removing them. Those crates are artillery-made and you can use a shovel to fill up the hole again.
