DEVBLOG: SPRING UPDATE 2023
It's that time of the year again where the dev team is heads down working on the next big annual update for Foxhole. In the meantime (and similar to last year), there will be an interim Spring Update and a Devblog instead of a Devstream. Check out the Devblog for a preview of what to expect from the Spring Update, which will be a small update focus on bug fixes and small features.

Nothing in this update will help the player numbers balance between Wardens and Colonials, or the imbalance between new offensive options and years old defensive base design. Add a T2 howitzer and make it outrange rockets, and sure maybe the game will survive ... but as things stand, making rockets more useful is not going to do anything but make it far easier for whichever side has more players to storm through the weaker team within the first week. Again.

Collies often have 120mm arty within 24 hours of the war starting, add in more rockets for them as well and it's green team for the win, every time.

You're actually on drugs. Colonials very rarely win the 120mm race because the Warden 120mm is on the Aluminium tier which often moves quicker than Iron.

Also artillery is typically T5 which this war came out on day 5. This 24 hours thing is literal delusion I have no idea where you get your information from.

God, I wish. But no, iron tech goes slower than alu, and that is the reason Wardens have won all but a couple of the 120mm races for the past year or so

The only review that changed was the recent one, which if I'm not mistaken takes the last 2 weeks. Today Foxhole have some 25k reviews in 80% good, for change need alot more bad reviews than 600 in early time, for this 25k reviewers problably only play 4k, its very vert hard to change now, but the recent is easy bombing again. In fact alot of wardens players stop play in the last one. My regiment have more than 50 players who migrated from faction
and even so the colonials have more people

I didn't change my review, I only change after some really decent balances occur, a real Anti Cheat and a pop control solution for factions that really works. Only thing the devs did last time was add the STD, which was strong indeed, but compared to the whole colonial early game, this tremola ♥♥♥♥ that has no way of countering it and the stygean which is ridiculous in itself. And I don't know why the hell you're singing victory too soon, the STD hasn't changed yet, just like the war isn't over either. Even a pop balance is something that must be done for the good of both factions and the health of the game in the long term, otherwise the game will not survive until the end of the year.

Cutler as alot of counters, and just came mid game with 120 mm, so its a weapon for siege, tremola come Early, with 99% of our bases with T2, simple wired Wall block the target, and All Collies know that, because all use for, its not even close to balanced, dont have 1 single way to block tremolas, only t3 can tank more, but like i said, Ealy game play dont have

Hope you guys can fix the "lost connection" issue. Took a break for a couple wars after the initial inferno war, now I can't play without getting sent to menu after 15 minutes. Done all the usual steps to try fixing it. Doesn't do a thing. Plenty of others have the same issue. Just wanna play uninterrupted.

I'm sorry, what part of "gunboats" is "Huber artillery tier"?

Troll all you want, but having been shelled by 120mm arty from collie gunboats in under 24 hours of the game starting a couple wars back yeah, you're full of it mate.

It's irrelevant, because the moment it can be made someone will drive a truckload of them to the Collies. Not even kidding, Collies usually have these in the field before many Warden positions. They only stopped doing that because it's overpriced for what it is and what else you can make instead, and the ammunition is definitely overpriced and too heavy compared to the Tremola which does the PvE job better because its so fast to fire.

Also if you see a cuttler, as a Collie, you just gas and bomba spam and you have a cutler.

Correct.

Tremola needs to be removed from the game, it's an "I win" button that is just mammon rushing without even being hit by the AI if you have a shovel. They made throwing grenades harder by giving them the momentum of the character, but then added these? Come on devs, think it through.
