Foxhole 2

DEV, if you make another foxhole, please make it 3rd or 1st person shooter. I believe it will top all other games out there. This top down just isn't cutting it. Especially with the aiming.

Top down view is the reason what makes Foxhole well foxhole remove that and it's essentially just a Generic Fps shooter.

I would love that ability. Killing people hiding behind stuff would become possible.

foxhole is going to continue development for a long time. the "next" foxhole is gonna be more a slasher than a shooter

No other games will be like foxhole if they change the camera view to 1st or 3rd person view. Building trenches, building, rebuilding towns, building a logistic facility, running supplies, building trains, a world map to fight on, building ships, barrage to transport troops, establishing a FOB, Bunkers, mining, and much more. No other game will come close to it. They can even add aircrafts properly. Foxhole would beat planetside 2, heroes and generals, hell let loose, squad and any other multiplayer game.

Name any other game that will allow you do all of the things foxhole allows.

Not the same as foxhole. You can't build factories, trenches, bridges, nor destroy buildings. You can't build huge FOB nor trains, ships, mining/salvage, and take over territory. The only thing squad offer is teamwork, small outpost which consist of a spawn point, ammo supply crate, mortars, sandbag and watch tower. Also a tent. Its also limited to certain amount of players with no world map.

it wont run in its current form as an FPS on next gen.. not without sub par graphics, which then defeats the point of making it. i doubt it could render properly everyones building as an FPS

it would take AAA deveolpment and no AAA company is going to throw money at its niche concepts like supply chains

the main problem is the target demo graphic doesnt line up with it as an FPS so no one will make it.. demographic for FPS wants fast action not a war sim.

you can't build foxholes/trenches or full operating bases.... there's no logistics of the same level with backline industries or transport/storage gameplay of the same magnitude, plus is instanced, it lacks the "persistent world" feature, so no, Squad doesn't fit
