Clan mass mute vote after writing about problem in global

There is a clan named OwO.
Basically they have a bunker on frontline (as I write this)- they are hoarding 16k bmats.

I approached them with a hauler - and asked if I can take some - had in mind about 500bmats to make some fortifications in the area up N - not in their base mind you.

They said no - which naturally i criticized - because from what I know, this is a group team game, where bunkers, especially at frontlines share resourced.

This colonel said if I come back there again, he will TK me, despite me not actually taking even 1 bmat from their base - I just criticized his take on the situation.

I did actually go back after he threatened me in chat - to which he did shoot me couple of times, and bloodied me but with no bleed, so I lived.

I then went on to write about this on global - and I was mass muted so far two times, for a total time of 60 minutes, and 40 minutes. A total of 100 minutes, just to prevent me from talking about this issue in global chat. Well gladly there are steam forums where they cannot mass vote me into disabling my opinion.

From what I know, this game is a team game. I have always shared my resources, those that I wished not to share and keep (few rmats crates and 40mm boxes), I have kept at seaport.

The clan I was previously in (and regiment), made a bunekr base, where we actually shared everything as well (pre 1.0).

Few people showed distress in global after I was muted, which a person from OwO said that they did this because I spammed region chat about this problem - Which I HAVE NOT. I have just written 1 or 2 sentences, then went straight to global to talk about this problem, where I have been swiftly mass muted.
There have been people there from few other clans, saying that this was not a coordinated effort (lol, how would they know?), which clearly was, to get me muted twice - the second time after I managed just to write two sentences.

I have read problems about mass votes from clans, but previously have never had problems with these, up until now.
Mass muting a person, because he says stuff that is not in line with your clan, no matter how big is weak IMO.

Also, if you get a Colonel talking such stuff, clearly there had to have been commend boosting in a clan. I dont believe that a person that gets to colonel legit, can even have such an opinion, and this is coming from a captain, that has gained his rank after 5 wars, trying to learn everything from infantry to logi, to tanks, to arti (apart from spotting, too hard lol).

Listen, I would understand if there was lets say 1k bmat, and they would need these to upgrade their base, or use for repairs, fair enough. But having 16k bmats and not allowing people to take is ridiculous IMO.

Ps. I have just been mass voted again to be muted just now, even tough I have not written even one word in public chat, because I am alt-tabbed and writing this post. So thats 120 minutes.

Ps2. I have never talked to any of them before, or actually came across them, nor TKed them, or stole anything from this clan.

There are things that people say that make issues more personal, at least for that game session until I log for another day.
Perphaps I am not the bigger person to just walk away, not every time at least, not today.

I have witnessed in chat an FM being weapon locked for a long time, minutes upon minutes - just for moving someones artilery gun (120) to the backlines to try and protect it, and have not responded - so no, I dont actually expect people to stand in my defence, but just posting this to get it out of my system so to speak, as I couldnt do it in global, to get it over with.
And to add another post to problems with clan mass votes, which I really dont think can be fixed or made in a different way unfortuntely.

But yes, life goes on.

You shouldn't have asked, ♥♥♥♥ them, take what you need. Nothing belongs to anyone, only the faction. I've never seen anything close to this happen on Charlie so I assume you were on Able or Baker.

Bmats are what they say, BASIC materials, they're the easiest thing to make besides diesel (although they're far easier to transport). I say this as someone who has made, transported, and submitted 10s of thousands in to public storage.

Yes, the mass vote system is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid and broken. If it's a million people from the same regiment it should simply not count like this unless there is some number of independents as well to stop abuse but also Alts (yes, they exist, yes they ruin the game, yes they are far more prominent during peak hours for China/Russia). People say you can record this and turn in tickets or whatever. Why should the burden be on the victims?

It would play out how its always been and sadly the devs have to rely on the community for self moderation, its a small company and can't be everywhere at once. Patches and updates takes most of their time and the rest is them enjoying the small amount of time with their families. Either way these types of people are rarer than you think it was just a unlucky day for you I guess. Only once I ever ran into this type of problem and that was back in war 91.

Mind you, when I was writing this post yesterday, and was still in Foxhole, muted, and alt tabbed, one of the OwO clan members, said whats up in local VC, and ran a circles around me a couple of times - looked like he tried to get me to team kill (I had my gun out, was on my way to warden hex), which naturally I wouldnt - there would be no points in such action.

Yup, this was on Able server, where I played all my wars, and didnt have a problem until now.
They basically said for me to get my own (the people that ran only bunker that had bmats in the front hex, and 16k of them lol), which I did end up doing logi to a relic in that hex from my own stash 3 hexes below(I mean just the usuall gameplay), because almost none of the other bunkers had any bmats including the relic, with Town Hall only having about 400ish.
One would think this clan would help distribute some of the bmats to the Relic or/and TH to contribute to the hex team effort in that hex (I know I would), but that did not happen, at least not until I logged for that day.

I mean it is what it is - I made this post to get it out of my system since I could not write about this issue in global chat due to being mass vote muted.
I still like this game and intend on playing it, heck, Im online right now as I write this lol.

The devs of this company have my respect by not introducing microtransactions amongst other things. This game is still good, and I currently main it.

Yup, this is the first time I ran into a clan doing this.

On a side not, shame the devs did not introduce a counter measure to boost commending a player (if possible) - Ive seen people go to rank major in just 2 wars. Why would I care?
Ranks should indicate overall knowledge and practice, imagine having a major that doesnt know how to man a tank.
Ive played with an LT that had no idea how many mamons it takes to kill a WT.
In the long run its whatever, seems like this happens only so often, or I just dont come across people like these.

At the moment no, I just left my previous regiment yesterday actually - and boy am I glad.
We had only a total of 5 active members - imagine them being harrased and muted only because of something I said to a bigger clan.
Yes, I have talked to person, who said his buddy in the same clan as him was being TKed only because he had the same clan tag (not saying OwO would TK my clanmates, but global mute when they would ask why I have been muted? Dont see why not).

However just yesterday I have been invited to join a regiment, to which I replied - not yet, lets see how all this unfolds, I do not want to be the reason of internal clan conflicts.

But I think, today is another day, time to let this go and just continue pushing the Wardens.

Despite all of this, as I said, still one of my favourite games.

Not entirely on topic, but having a major that has very little experience in anything, and is overall not a good leader or team player is pretty realistic.

Getting boosted through the ranks when they really shouldn’t be trusted with anything lends itself to the “war simulator” experience pretty well lol.

Not optimal or fair, but an interesting observation/parallel to real life.

It's so stupid how devs keep this form of player led moderation despite the constant abuse, I get mass downvoted by clans for the pettiest things, I saw people get muted for the pettiest things, this needs to be changed

Well first I can say you are dealing with everyone in the entire world playing together in two factions together at the same time. There are some cultural differences between the factions, but still you are going to have a wide variety of individuals/groups on both sides. Unfortunately it is realistically impossible to be idealist in this situation, so you have to be pragmatic. I am pretty sure that regiment is named after some pedophile weeb meme if I am not conflating it for something else, but it gives you an idea of the individuals within it, so you can't expect too much grace out of those who are not mentally healthy.

Anyways, even though 16k bmats is not the largest sum of them in the world, 500 is really nothing, and taking them to secure the frontline is a noble cause, as frontline building is really born out of necessitation rather than desire.

It sounds like you are dealing with some very emotionally immature trash people. I am sorry that you must suffer from this. The fact that you actually asked them for the bmats elevates you so much above their childish behaviour.

Alright guys, Ill leave it and not delete it, since some people want it up.

But please keep in mind, that people do mistakes, who know maybe next time they will think twice (or I will think twice). Might give them the benefit of the doubt, and just move on from this issue.

Also please dont go around griefing them etc, thats not the solution to the problem.

Ive long left them and their bunker and bunker supplies, and havent revisited it since, nor will visit it again. Since they want it how they want it, let them be to their own devices.

Ive actually played with a dude from this clan in a hex yestrday, and he did help us push and was quite chill, which is why I thought twice in terms of if this thread should stay.
So like I said, a few bad apples are to be expected from time to time, Im sure a lot of folks from this clan are chill.
