APC the most useless vehicle ?

Hey hum, so, I am reading the new patches and I don't really like what I am reading. Not only the speed and armor have been nerfed trough so many patches before, to a point that the APC is pretty much a fragile cardboard moving vehicle, but you now need 6 people standing on it to be able to drive it ?

What's the point of including that vehicle if it's such a chore to operate it ? It was already hard enough before, now it's just a pointless one ride transport vehicle.From what I read, it's better to use a Barge as it's larger and can transport more people and materials. Even if it's a one way transport vehicle, at least it can transport more troops, supply and other vehicles for be able to supply a fight when arriving to the landing zone.

The APC ability to survive was because it can move and flanc/get out of the danger zone, it's it's only way of survival as it cannot sustain a heavy firefight without getting disabled and then destroyed. The APC could be used for transporting teams of special ops people behind enemy lines and then get out, stay agile for survival, you've removed that. I do not see the point of that vehicle anymore

The APC only have 6 inventory slots (less than a smaller jeep that have 9) / it require 6 people for moving (an armord car or truck only need one, AKA : the driver)

I do not understand why the APC is still included into the game if it's for making that vehicle a little more pointless to use after each patches.

Yeah it could be be a little better but you do not need six people to drive it. It said you cannot drive it if you have more than six people in the back.

I'm very confused by this sentence for both Barge and APC "Can only move when there are 6 or less players standing on it". You cannot move your APC or Barge if there are more than 6 players on it ?

I don't know if it's needed as an APC can hardly shove more than 6 people on it already, and in my opinion, barges should be large enough for carrying more than 6 people, you can't do much with a such small landing part on your boat.

That is how I understand it, once there are more than 6 people they just cant move but if it is 6 or under they can. So it is similar to the half track where you can have two in the back but any more and it can drive. I also agree that that barges should carry more but they also did say its model was some what changed so maybe there is less room.

To clarify a bit, in the early days of farranac coast especially, you could definately cram as many as 10 people onto an apc between the back area and the top of the drivers seat. (i wouldnt be surprised if others had gotten more)

he is right, the maximum amount of people allowed in the back of the APC is 6, anymore and it will stop driving. similar to the halftrack.

APC is the fastest water craft ?

APC isnt meant for land based ops it's a multi terrrain/amphibous vehicle though reality is that it is meant to be a landing craft?

Yes APC could fit more people in but the chance of survival was low (catapulted out the back)

You once could place a a HMG in the back (on land) and use it as a poor mans HT .

APC has a lot of potential just not sure people are using it to its full extent ?
