This game really would not lend itself well to controller. Just get used to KB+M, and enjoy the game. It isnt that hard to switch.

Any game is good with a controller with proper implementation. I am used to kbm probably more so than I should be that's the problem. I'm trying to limit the use of kbm for a few months to prevent carpel tunnel.

First sentence is BS. By far not every game lends themselves well to controller. City builders liike Simcity for example do not lend themselves well.

And there are aergonomic mice and keyboards out there, that are specifically designed to avoid carpel tunnel, so I'd reccommend you get those.

The toxicity towards contoller is unreal. Obviously KBM is usually 'better' and a lot of games are easier on KBM. However a controller scheme can still be considered good even if it's never going to be quite as effective as KBM in certain games. Also, while ergonomics definitely help they hardly completely resolve issues with carpal tunnel. I also really want controller support in foxhole so I could lay back and play logi from my couch

With the amount of inputs needed to just do basic run and gunning, not to mention logistics. I honestly don't think it's possible with a controller. Not unless you somehow come up with a whole new menu system. And then literally your entire experience would be menus. Just to shoot a weapon it's two hard inputs + one axis input assuming you're not walking anywhere, and you're just standing still, not crouching.

For a proper firefight you're using two axis inputs plus 4 hard inputs. That leaves precious few buttons left on a basic controller, which is what PC games are mapped out for when taking controllers that into account.

Some games I do prefer to play on the console rather than on PC. And some games on PC I still prefer on controller. But this game? This game simply would not be fun on controller, no matter how you fixed it up to be.

Seconding Star on this one, The P.C master race really needs to calm down before they have a heart attack.

Controller support for foxhole would be nice and barring game architecture barriers I've seen more complicated games then this mapped to controller, Yeah there can be a bit of jank but who cares. Most would rather have an optional feature then not have one

I use keyboard and mouse and agree that doing so is advantageous in active combat but I play as logi fairly often and Id probably lean back in my chair and break out the controller myself sometime when just scroopping or driving flatbeds/ships.

My hand is just messed up and while it gets better or I get it fixed I want to be able to play things but every damn game I wanna play never has controller support lol.

LMFAO, I broke my hand and didn't have insurance to get it fixed so it healed incorrectly. One of my finger bones is now crooked and it causes pain if I use my mouse for very long.
