But will say these general bits.
Try to learn your routes and make the most of it.
When making a delivery to the front-lines most drive back empty. Try to find a mine en-route and deliver the raw materials to a logistics hub to get more purpose out of a two way trip.
Also for mines just sitting there is hardly worthwhile unless you are really pressed.
Try to get a nice route going where you go in a circle that refreshes itself while you make deliveries and refine; if they are running low on fuel take some fuel in your cargo.
Logistics is the art of making the most out of your trips either alone or in a group; try not to make one way the only meaningful direction unless its an emergency.
Scout uniforms should be immune to it at night at-least...
Another tip is to use a timer for when you craft stuff because sometimes it can take a very long time and to keep track of everything can be a mess. I use an online timer that lets me stack a couple of timers if I use multiple factories.
A third tip would be to use a macro which makes your mouse1 button last as long as you want to hammer on a vehicle, or whatever you are crafting/repairing with your hammer. This should really be a feature in the game because it is especially boring when you play as a builder and need to build a whole base by yourself..
I just spent an hour or 2 (at the start of the war) collecting scrap, turning it to bmats, and then making a variety whatever I could.
After I had enough, I built a barge and shipped it to a Frontline seaport.
From there, I used a truck to deliver it to the Frontline where it was needed.
Kind of boring imo but at the same time, it is really satisfying knowing that you control the entire outcome of the war
You could always try just doing one of those things only instead of going through the entire process if that helps.
