They did explain what the respawn timers take into account and why the effect lasts longer after the population balance was achieved, but it's broadly explained on how that works (there's hidden variables) due to them being afraid of players abusing it.
I honestly don't think the devs do anything manually anymore. The last manual thing they used to do was to make partisan bases when regions were too full to create different fronts, but border bases have drastically reduced that problem.
Wardens have a far superior early game. They lost 77 by not building ANYTHING.
Wardens did not have anything good unlocked when you entered Viper Pit this war. We had Shallowtail and Baby Mortar and maybe something built with a prototype kit. We would probably have pushed you back a little if we had 40mm, but we did not.
Colonials fought really good this war though, I give you that! I had to fight partisans all the time and they were super annoying and they always came back.. :D
That's kind of cute that you think they're so hands off with their own game.
Every aspect if the game is tweaked.
Today I was in queue behind 14 people, the server line starting stacking. Close to about 8 logis were lining up along with me. All of sudden everyone was cleared for the queue.
These developers are clowning around while getting paid.
They micromanage the game way too much for it to automated.
I just imagine them going "Oh we didn't know the numbers were so skewed towards colonials at night, we don't work during those hours, lul."
