Prone is vulnerable, because you're stationary. Grenades will [Steam's lovely hearts] you up, and it takes time to turn to face a new threat. But you gain accuracy very fast, and will usually be harder to hit.
-Hammer to get basic health back
-Garage to get armour back
Depends on what you mean down a tank; and depends on the tank.
-Can easily de-track vehicles with mines, stickies and AT guns from the side.
-Sometimes other parts can be disabled, but that's luck based, detracking is consistent.
-Actually blowing up would need rear fire ideally where armour is weakest.
Facing tanks head on here and in any game is ill advised when possible.
Best cover would give as much physical cover as possible. Sandbags vs Trench is a topic for much later.
Aim centre mass when possible; some advise shooting BEHIND the target, since you will see the red line indicate something [enemy] in the way. Very hard to figure out especially with elevation changes at times.
Prone does give a stable fire position and makes you a smaller target, at cost of mobility of course.
Killing any vehicles is always a job for AT guns, grenades or rockets. Gas grenades are under-used for this; always remember as a vehicle crewman to have extra filters just for that.
For anti vehicles, you need some coordination for it. The only time youll be able to solo a tank will be if it doesnt move or fire.
I find myself missing to many shots, while enemy is always spot on.
Me n enemy got same gun, we engage in a fight. he killed me in first 3 bullets that are always on point, i missed 20, smg type fight.
Both of us crouched, i try burst, but i still dont hit like the enemy does.
Is there a recoil pattern you can learn? Sometimes i see guys with rifle just shooting almost continuously bullets going same place. They just aint missing, like they got no recoil after shooting.
A bunch of factors but its really simple: hold down aim until the crosshair is as pinpoint as it can be and then shoot.
