What a terrible new user experience

I started the game and picked tutorial, and it put me on a map where I could wander to some places but not do anything. I could get some supplies and encumbered.

It was just a waste of a half hour with nothing, mentioned it to chat and no response, found deploy and clicked a map location.

Spawned there, could walk around with a fist attack, got run over by a truck. Ya, I could look up guides but I'm more feeling disgusted with the experience and not playing this.

The new user experience is terrible due to the lack of a proper tutorial. The best way to learn the rope of this game is by asking more experienced players who will help you understand the very basics.
Just ask in global chat if someone can help you understand logi/infantry/scrapping and you should get the help you need.

My best way to learn was watching a youtube Tutorial of the game. It was all I need to get into it^^

There’s also a “how to play” tab in the pause menu, it’s not a tutorial but it gives you some of the basics.

You were lucky. That sounds like fun. I froze to death the first time I deployed, Took about 2 mins to die. Had no idea what to do to avoid it.

At most times in the day there is another player at the basic training. I’m one of those people, we attempt to teach everything that is possibly necessary to have a first time experience, I’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience but hopefully you can join us there again sometime

Imagine not using T to chat locally or ask for help in the World, Region, Team, or Local chat? Yeah the game really does suck when you can't talk to anyone.

And really don't hesitate to just ask in chat. Also just spawn on a frontline. You'll die a lot, but thats war!

I would agree tho, it pretty toxic player base. I got team killed and mass reported bcuz some clan wanted more of their own in the zone. Nice, so i cant play the game for 60min as they just wanted more of their own in the zone. Good system.

I picked this game up yesterday and my experience was brilliant. Yesterday I served at the front. Manned a pillbox and kept a bridge for three hours. Today I went for logistics and supplied grenades and shirts to a struggling frontline. The reason your experience sucked was because you probably didnt even watch a single video about a very complex game and you were also incapable of reading what was displayed on your screen. The training course literally shows you all the functionalities you need to start out. Have you ever played a video game before? If you pile up ♥♥♥♥ in your inventory and your character starts moving slowly...just drop some ♥♥♥♥...the inventory system is literally the second signpost in the trainings course.
