What faction is best for a new player?

Just picking this up, and faction choice seems like a big deal, since it can't be changed. Any recommendations for a beginner?

The Wardens seem to have a very organised military (altough very toxic judging from how they swear at you if they die AND when they kill you...) and the Colonials have a reputation to have a friendly and well established logistic network.

Pick what you'd prefer to do from there I guess.

I ended up picking the Colonials. Only met one guy so far, but he was friendly and helpful. I wanna do logistics, so it looks like I made the right choice.

I think both sides will be good for a new player. I mainly play Colonials but I know Wardens have a lot of clans and some of those are very organised and effective so if you're looking to learn hard and fast you could try joining one of those. Colonials I like as it feels more friendly and chilled as a faction.

I play with voice chat off because I've been away for work, and just don't want to be bothered with it. However, I can even tell this about Wardens without using voice. (I play Warden) I have had people run in font of me firing a storm gun or sub, they get hit, they turn and shoot me once or twice as if it is my fault they are so tunnel visioned.

It is outweighed by the good though. I have come across many helpful Warden players.

Its like all games. Sides don't matter unless you want to win, or deal with clans. If your just going solo and doing your own thing, you wont notice much diff.

As a person who plays both sides, you find the same thing on both sides. You find clans, solos, groups of clowns, etc etc. The sides really don't matter too much if you just enjoy playing the game.

Thanks, everyone! I've been really enjoying the game, so far. Haven't really met anyone super toxic. I also got a couple friends to pick it up.
