Deposit driveway to stockpile containers / stealing?
Hi :)

i just started playing this game and i got to say i really love doing logistics to support the team effort. but i noticed one thing, when im driving a flatbed full of scraps back to base the ordinary truckdrivers that are using the refinary often wait for me to open the container so that they can quickly steal the resupply.

i know i was just going to do just that but i would like the other players to see that i was the one doing the heavylifting of those supplies. is there some way of locking the container?

Edit: i have now played a bunch more an have changed my opinion a bit, this is just a minor problem in the big picture..

There's no way to lock a container, would cause to many issues. From how you have worded your post it seems the refinery was dry and there were no mats to make supplies and nothing in the depot to take up to the front line, so that would explain the behaviour.

I can understand the frustration, Most of us have all been there at one point or another. Don't let the experience get you down and give you a bad impression of the job. Sooner or later people will recognise the hard work you're putting in.

I believe you can summit container scraps when placed close to refinery. Yesterday I did do this, I saw a player dropping container close to refinery, I was in truck waiting for my stuff, than I just submit it container. The player who brought container when back to container, I think he was unloading from his inventory. I wanted to say something, that person just when back to playing and didn't say anything. Read this post and makes me think it could have been you. If it was you, I only submitted to refinery, I thought it be quicker. If not, than my apologies.:ale:

i have found that doing flatbed scrap runs dosent give you much time to refine or even place orders because your flatbed is taking up valuable space around the refinery. so the people stealing is the ones that im trying to keep supplied with raw maths. which makes this even more annoying. do they get the exp for the delivery also?

no faded it wasent you, i just unloded the container and one milisecond after i unpacked it there was a guy claiming it and directly drove away (in shame i hope). im not angry or anything the supplies goes to help the team, but it just feels bad not to get the gratitude or possibly a commendation :(

You get the experience for the delivery if you submit it into the refinery yourself. The only way to do this if you want all the salvage as your own, would be to unload the container away from the refinery and just pull salvage yourself to transfer on foot into refinery

Yes, this is a huge problem, arguably one of the biggest problems with logi right now. There are two specific players on Colonials I know of that snipe refinery supplies and rarely/never scrap themselves. I recommend you get yourself a normal truck locked and in position in front of the refinery and as soon as you unpack the resource container, jump in that truck and submit the driveway equipment and quickly spam right click on the materials you deposit into the refinery.

derp1234 When i do flatbed runs i dont care who refines or use the scraps once i have unloaded them to the refinery stockpile.

the thing that grinds my gears is that people dont give me 2 seconds to get into the refinarymenu to submit them there myself.

the reason i dont refine is because unloading a container takes up alot space around the refinery and i want to get out of there and on route as fast as possible.

im on the warden side so there are thives on both sides foxy.

im going to start to callout the thives in region chat the next time i get containerrobbed.

There is nothing such as "my resources" in Foxhole.

i totaly agree, but if you are refering to me as being greedy you will have to explain more why you think im out of line when i want the credd for selflessly collecting scraps for other players to use.

logirunning scraps back to base isen't that exiting, and doing all that tidius ( but imortant ) work for not even a orange text showing the contribution to the team feels just unrewarding.

am i in the wrong here?

hope you guys have a happy new year :) / kylaren
