Stop walking in the middle of roads

What is wrong with the people in this game? They walk in the middle of a road and then rage when they get run over by a supply tuck or motorcycle.

It's a ROAD. It's for VEHICLES. Is there not enough space BESIDE the roads????? Because I 'll be damned if I get banned over running over geniuses who get killed by simply walking.

On a related note: Stop driving in the middle of the road, or on the left side. Drive on the right side, walk on the right side. Gives the driver the most time to react, as it minimises relative velocity.

Pedestrians always have the right of way, since by the time we know you are there, you have already run us over.

That may be the rule of thumb in real life but in foxhole the logistic men have all priority over an average infantry. The easiest way not to get destroyed by a truck and to get the stamina boost of the road is to stay at the very edge. This lets you have a little reaction time to dive off the road.

walking on roads make your stamina last much MUCH longer. people will continue walking on roads because even if sometimes you get hit by a truck, its still overall more effective.

Let me guess, there's been a new influx of new players hasn't there? With every new batch of fresh recruits, they always seem to want to try and rewrite the unwritten rules within the game. At the end of the day, it will remain the same. Drivers and logistics own the road while moving and should be parking off the road as not to clutter the path. While on foot, you can still get the road bonus by traveling on the edge of the road while LISTENING for the distinct sound of the trucks. The moment you hear the truck, you make a 90 degree turn away from the road and then return once the truck has passed. It's really not rocket science and there will be far much less running for you. I guarantee you, you will lose the man vs truck fight everytime and just end up walking more in the end. What little stamina you save will be offset my making the run 3 times after getting flattened.

Too bad in the game you don't have the right of way and if you get run over by LOGI that is all your own fault stay out of the middle and don't get run over. If i run you over running supplies to the front i wont even stop to say sorry even real life troops walk on the SIDE of the road when there is traffic.

If you could get instantly kicked from the server and banned for 60 minutes for running over three team mates in the space of 3 minutes.

Then the simplest option would be not to run the roads alone.. travel as a group of no less than three in single file down the road, so should someone score a "Gouranga" on your squad, you won't have to worry about them doing it again for the proceeding 60 minutes due to the instant ban.

Joking aside...

Logi's are riding around in non-armoured trucks with no weaponry, they don't/won't want to slowdown unless they absolutely have to because doing so puts them at risk of ambushes and they are feeding a machine(The War Machine).

If the machine isn't fed... it breaks down.

Currently the there are no map pips on a Logi's minimap. (They have to look at the main map to see if anyone is spotted by a watchtower when they have a radio equipped) which means they have to stop driving to look, which is fine in a friendly base, but not something that can be done out in the open safely.

This is for all those that didn't get an apology (Although I usually do apologise in the rare instances to team chat, since it's easy to miss a persons name as you speed right over them).

I Apologise on behalf of all Logi's for anyone that has ever been or will be squashed (non-maliciously).

Sidenote:
If I do purposely run someone over (which currently has never been the case) I will make damn sure I reverse back over them to make damn sure they know it wasn't an accident. The likelihood of that is pretty unlikely since I'd prefer to play the game with the best of intentions rather than as a Troll
