This game is stupid
So apparently our enemy decided to lock 3 freighters literally 2 meters away from our port. You can't get in them because they are "locked". So I built a barge, grabbed a wrench and tried to unlock it. I'm standing next to the entry point but it still says "it can't find it".

I ask in chat what I should do and they tell me I should jump over the barge unto the freighter. I did. Character literally leaps across the freighter unto the other side into the water. I drown.

I go back, and because the entry door to my barge is so close to the freighter, I can't now get into my own barge! I had built a speed boat to see if I could get in, but nada.

So then I had to build a SECOND barge and made sure I positioned the door so I could get. Problem is, freighters are large. So no matter how I try to get on top of it to unlock it, my character dashs across it, lands on the other side, and drowns.

I realized I spent nearly a hour to unsuccessfully unlock a freighter by our own ports.

You know what would be a good strategy? Literally just send locked freighters to enemy ports, keep them slightly out in the water and just blockade the whole dam thing. This "locking" system has to freaking go, or vechs get unlocked after a time period. The whole wrench idea is completely wasted on this game.

drown mechanics is also really stoopid. As if the soldier will cling to their guns and stuff just to drown

vehicles should instantly unlock if a player leaves the map or logs off and frankly (if i can be frank here for a second), i was stunned absolutely shocked & appalled to find out this wasnt already the case because it makes no sense from any standpoint whatsoever at all

Not sure how long you play the game , im in since day 1 steamlaunch , and this patch is one of the best if not the best we ever had . And all the mechanics you guys complain about are here for a reason :) .

They need to either nerf RPG's or Buff Armor / Health of heavy vehicles. I spent 4 hours building a gunboat, bringing it down from weathered to the drowned shore. 3 Rpg's was all it took to sink it.

Granted it was my fault for listening to the commander, knowing full well I was too dam close to the shore, but either way, to watch all the logistical work go to maintain, stock, fuel, supply, and move it to the front, only to literally have it RPG'ed to death within a time span of 8 seconds makes doing logi completely not worth it.

RPG shells are easy and cheap to produce. A gunboat and its ammo is obviously not. If your going to make this game have a sacricity of tanks and gun boats, ATLEAST make them extremely hard to KILL.

Rpg does 5% of dmg on a bt, and about 10% to lt ( which means u need atleast 5 rpg to disable him) you are right on rpgs tho , buffing range and reducing costs at the same time may need balance . Not imo , but who am i ^^

theres a trick where u jump over the side of the barge with a wrench and left click at the right time it should start unlocking

yeah, I agree. It is kind of frustrating that ♥♥♥♥ like this keep happening. The inability to reliably unlock and recover stolen ships is what make naval battle unplayable. You can't have a naval force if the enemy or some griefers can just walk up to the ships and do things like this.
