"You can move around while scrapping by pressing a movement key while hammering to get closer to another node"

"brick of cocaine with a circle round it in the top right is everyones orders, rule of thumb is if you don't plan on being back within 5-10min or have a special order to fill you put on public using the drop down menu so others can take it"

"if you hover over the icon for the weaponry you can see who placed the order, if no name pops up they logged off/changed regions. If you desperately need the item like shirts and its ready on private, Message them privately instead of shaming them in chat and you will get a better result"

"If you see the factory inventory full of boxes, take them and put in the storage depo"

Unpack it, click on depo and click "submit driveway equipment, this will warp everything in instantly (max stack 100) if you have 40 Bmats and the place has 66, you will need to remove the extra before it can submit"

"Flatbeds can drive at the same speed offroad"

LOGI ORDERS:
"WHERE and WHAT, "we need ammo to the front" is not helpful, there may be plenty of fronts at the time and plenty of different types of ammo"

"A perfect example of a logi request is "We need Radios to The Moors-H3K5"

"If you are taking an order, confirm you are so multiple people don't do the same order"

"If your production lines are not in the same region you need to tell people to put their requests in world chat"

"If you hover over a TH or FOB you can see whats inside it and from experience what they are missing."

"Avoid taking half loaded trucks to the fronts, fill an order and check what else they need"

"Always take 1xB binos with arty orders"

PARTISANS: (people who ambush logi):
"Always avoid if you can and see them on the map, take the long route and post the location to the team in region(team) chat"

"Avoid using roads without radio towers if possible, if the radio tower icon goes translucent, its just been killed or decayed."

"Keep an eye out for reported ambushes in chat"

"Use an enemy truck whenever possible so the newer players will hesitate for that split second and by the time you drive past you will only take a couple rounds "

"Your truck will be disabled pretty quickly (80%) if this happens and you cant kill them alone, stay inside the truck, make sure its locked and report the position to the team."

"Beware of bushes along the roads, the enemy will use them to ambush"

"Partisans will blow bridges, you need 300Bmats to repair"

"Be suspicious of trucks parked across on the bridges"

"If you see an ambush with no alternate route, report it in chat and wait for the road to be cleared"

"Pull over to the side of the road and quickly check the map every few minutes"

"Be careful at border jumps"

EVAC:
"You need at least 20-30min warning, You can only take things that stack like ammo and medical supplies, Frags/He's only take 3/4 to leave people with stuff to fight with and if they start pushing put some back"

"Priority things include stuff that will destroy your defences like HE's"
(Make sure the supply depo is empty too)

UPGRADE PARTS:
"FOB's need 10 upparts for first tier to get the defences online which don't stack, once you arrive use the FOB and right click on the button under "facilities"

SAFEHOUSES:
"You can supply a safe house in a truck from the sand bag area on the front right (if you were looking at the front)"

"Try to make sure the arty shield is upgraded before doing so (square should be orange) "

ETIQUETTE:
"Drive on the right side of the road"

"Try to avoid beeping at people, use communication instead, if you need to get in somewhere, say politely you need to get in and more times than not people will move"

"It's really bad etiquette to submit someone else's logi run but it happens, so spam your boxes as fast as possible and click submit"

"Try to avoid congestion, if you don't need to be a factory or something, park out of the way until your order is done"

"Close gates behind you unless its a solo on the road by itself or has excessive defences around it"

"With team kills, say sorry if you run someone down, but really it is their fault for running on the road. If someone continues to give you chit over it, say "You can hear my engine, but i cant hear your footsteps"

"Avoid submitting Bmats to bases, call out "I've got Bmats for builders, take em!" only submit as a last resort"

"Don't move away cranes from storage depo's they need to be a permanent addition unless the place is being overrun."

"Park on the side of the roads to message and check the map"

"Give way to vehicles on a bridge that are over half way, back up unless they are slower driving like a CV or crane"

"Be careful when driving around sandbags, one tap and it will be destroyed"

"When waiting to cross regions park your truck on the side of the road to avoid congestion"

"Don't ask for commends, be friendly and helpful you will get plenty"

GENERAL TIPS:
"Mines only hurt combat vehicles, don't worry about them with trucks."

"Communication is key!"

"Try to only supply the previous FOB's unless they are too far apart or pushing really far"

"Pick people up going the same direction as you, this will generally get you more commends than the logi itself"

"Try to always keep the previous FOB's supplied as a fallback base"

"If a vehicle is blocking the road, use your wrench and park it on the side of the road and leave it unlocked"

"Give way to faster driving vehicles"

"If someone puts their opp marker on top of a FOB or TH its hard to see whats inside and whats needed. Join their opp and kindly ask if they would move it and why."

"You can do everything from your truck by driving it up and pressing "E", LMB is 1x and RMB is 3x the amount."

"Always keep your truck locked by pressing L (you can do this from inside also)"

"Don't worry about encumbrance, your truck will just go slightly slower"

"After 5 minutes your truck can be wrenched, jump back in it every 4-5min to avoid this"

"Materials on the ground despawns after 5min"

"Check boxes for hidden goodies"

"If you need to kill defences on the roads in the backlines, give a friendly fire in region(team) chat warning so people don't come running (example: FF at Moors-J7k1)"

"When taking Bmats to the front that aren't urgent, check the health of the towers you pass and repair any in need (tilted towers need urgent repair) "

"Generally don't supply more than 300 of something unless its shirts and really heavy combat"

"If you pull too much out, it will go on the ground and become translucent under your truck, jump out, pick it up and put it back"

"Shirts are not needed in star bases, but you will spawn slightly slower"

"Try to only go AFK around friendly defences"

"You can generally unstick a truck by jumping in and before as the engine starts up. Hold W with A or D. If this doesn't work, get someone else to do the same thing, jump out and you try again. This will work 90% of the time, if this fails blow it up to avoid congestion"

"Be especially careful at night for roadrunners"

"You can wiggle through tight defences using A and D"

"If you catch your truck sliding out of control, jump out and back in"

"You can slingshot yourself off objects for sharper turns (takes practice) "

"If you find raw materials like Emats, Comps/Rmats, Sulfer/HEmats, Tech, Crude oil and Salv on the frontline, take it to be refined or made into something"

Have you made a guide already? Because this would go great in a guide somewhere for people to return to. Lots of useful information in here.
Nah not made a guide yet, will do youtube videos eventually but this was just to get the info out there for the time being during the sale.

Equipment:
Binoc - for navigating congested areas you are new to. Also nice when getting ready to cross an area without towers near the front.
SMG (three clips) - for removing stuck trucks blocking bridges, roads in towns, etc.

Terms:
Raider - Small groups of enemy soldiers far behind your front. Note the term 'soldiers'. Soldiers wear uniforms, Partisans do not. Since everyone in the game wears a uniform, there are NO partisans.
The Gunslinger Jul 2, 2019 @ 7:07am
I just started playing the other day and this helped fill in some gaps in my knowledge of the game. Thanks for the info!

Hauling BMATS to the front?
Good on you.

While you're driving, look at the condition of the towers along your way.
If they are drooping, ya might wanna take some time to fix them.

Towers make Goblins visible.
Goblins hate being seen.

The ambush you prevent may be your own.

Good Job !!!

You know they looking for someone to re-do the wiki ?

Jimmiefan Jul 2, 2019 @ 2:13pm
I'm glad there are others writing up information covering logistics, though I certainly recommend putting this into a Steam Guide rather than forum post. I've written one up myself, as there was many people asking questions, and no other up to date reference material for them.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1586545212

I covered mostly general topics relating to the logistics role, having not gotten around to most of the details and tips, which I see that your post covers. I certainly would recommend reading both this and my guide, as there's great information each one has which the other doesn't.

I could also be interested in doing a collaboration for a single guide if you're interested Stabbath.
Sure mate! I'm just wanting to get the info out there so i dont need to keep running workshops haha!
Jimmiefan Jul 2, 2019 @ 2:42pm
Exactly the same reason I wrote up mine. Hit me up when you get time, and we can discuss it more.
Agmar Jul 2, 2019 @ 2:57pm
LOGI Orders:

When taking the order, record the name of the requester.
That way, when you have an issue before delivery, you have someone to query.
