Mic not working?

Im holding my push to talk button and talking, but no one can hear me?

Only thing I can offer is was it plugged in before or after you started the game? Mine won't work if it's not plugged in before I start foxhole.

It was plugged in before I started foxhole. I recently got a new mic and my old one always worked

Does it work with Teamspeak or Ventrillo?
Some mikes work fine with them, but not Discord.

I dont know how to resolve your issue but this might help, when I installed teamspeak I had kind of the same issue.

what happened is that teamspeak somehow had my mic and headphones assigned to a different device. I think it mightve been a primary device, such as speakers that where disabled. I noticed this after checking the volume mixer and checking both playback and recording devices. and based on that I googled the answer.

hopefully that can shed some light on the issue, because I dont have a fix for this either.

Reinstalled Game and Audio drivers. Did not work. Tryed older drivers too.
What worked for me was setting up steam voice.

I figured out the problem. My mic sensitivity is super low and this game and I just have to get closer to my mic and speak up a little louder. I feel really stupid but I am used to the game picking up my voice :P
