On the other hand, 30 days of fighting didn't use up a ton of Scrap in ammo, shirts and replacement rifles?
Is it lack of Techparts or just not managing those your side has?
Smokes and other things are what I mean.
Farming isn't the issue?
Last time I played, farming was the only way to get techparts.
The more you farm, the more Techparts you get.
What I was trying to say was that in my experiance, farming componant yards instead of scrap yards yields far, far more tech and lets you catch up even in many cases.
But I see these same componant yards empty far too often simply because you can't turn componants into rifles.
I farmed a componant yard for maybe 20 minute last night and got 14 tech parts, but then died because we were underprotected.
Because by the time you tell people ingame it tends to already be too late.
This is for people who manage to see this who don't do this already, or people who are at the start of a new war, so they can have a decent chance to make what they need, when they need it, instead of spending the hours farming tech to get sledges that you could've done on day 3.
You bring a QM a load of RMATS refined from Components and he is just as happy as having a bunch of BMATS.
I also see underused resource yards from time to time, in both Components and Scrap.
I suspect that their lack of use is due more to tactical reasons than desire to starve tech development.
Whoever is hauling, minining, or manufacturing is not busy putting little round holes in the enemy.
Without grunts blocking the foe from you in the support field, there wouldn't be any support.
My guess is that the enemy is putting enough pressure on your front line that it is a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul. You are getting most of your personnel tied up in keeping the bad mens from getting at your stripped support team. More grunts, fewer clerks.
Nice haul.
I have yet to get that kind of yield from smashing tank hulks, but I guess some people do win the lottery also.
I rarely see anyone properly operate vehicles in this game, but when they do, they dominate literally everyone.
But idk, operating vehicles requires teamwork and without a mic its pretty difficult to convey what exactly you need them to do so you don't end up dead to the one random with a rifle that flanked you because you didn't go backwards or forwards or turn, etc.
