It's tied to your Steam display name, right?

you have to change your steam ID. You can throw a "MEDIC" in front of your name and then change it back when you want

Rather than start a new thread for this, I get why you'd want the steam name. It'd be useful to add a prefix or a suffix though like medic or a clan tag, without having to rename the steam profile.
