infinite loading. (Fixed)

Just like the title says after starting a new game I reach a load screen that never ends. Iv tried everything I can think of. running as administrator, verifying game files, uninstalling and reinstalling game. yet nothing, there seems to be very little information about this online as to solutions. yet any information I do find usually pertains to the demo not the full game. I'm stuck.. I love the game but its completely broken I have no idea what to do.

Hey, so I wanted to update this post. Recently I found the solution in another thread regarding this issue. I cant seem to find the forum in question. So sorry in advance for not being able to give credit where it is due. However this fix is pretty simple. It's not the most practical one, but if you simply wanna play the game. this is what I have. You just need to make a new windows profile and play it there... yes that's it. I'm not joking. I tried it myself and it works fine. I dont know why this is the solution, but I'll take it.

I got this too after a few sessions, the only fix I found is to put graphics, display and render scale on lowest which will cause the loading to be only about a minute instead of infinite, enjoy your new type of cancer
It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke I could play this game fine before, what even happened

yeah i did everything you said. Dropped graphics and rendering till the menu looked like ps1 game.. still nothing. guess ill just play pathologic hd till they fix this... which i doubt will happen

Also yeah literally nothing works on an existing save, I tested all of this:
-defragmenting
-checking game files
-admin rights
-gpu rights
-deleting all config/external files except saves in AppData\LocalLow\Ice-Pick Lodge\Pathologic 2
-uninstalling/reinstalling the game
output_log.txt shows a lot of errors but I don't know if they are useful in any way, loading seems to stop after a few seconds:
