I hope with the release their new game on the 10th, they'll devote resources to finishing Bachelor
Yes it's called Know by Heart I think
That said, I will still buy it since it's from one of my favourite devs and there has to be something of value there.
Oh and if they don't have the finances to make the two other characters for P2 then I fully understand and I'm perfectly happy with what I got, but I wish the devs would be honest about it.
I think we'll have to wait for their next game Franz to come out before we hear anymore: Franz (iOS/Android). This title developed by Dybovski himself is apparently designed to test the game mechanics that can later appear in Pathologic 2: “Bachelor’s scenario.” The game will challenge the player’s perception of control that they think they have over the game.
So make sense Franz comes out first, test the mechanics and then they appear in Bachelor
Not sure they could. Pathologic 2 did sell very poorly, despite some excellent coverage from huge YouTubers and media outlets.
However with the recent sanctions against Russia (and I am not in anyway associating them with oligarchs who have billions to work with... just common game designer folk) I honestly would not be surprised if the drastic fall / possible collapse of the ruble, and the difficulty in being able to exchange their sales from one denonimation into another... I really would not be surprised if they had to look for some way to either work outside of russia and/or ask for some kind of backer support or charge some realistic price for the games (especially if they are as long and as well made as the Harspux's). I would not mind paying extra and would support their finding some way around the restrictions they are facing in russia today if things do not change soon.
I'm a bit worried about them to be honest, given their statements against the Ukraine war on Twitter. I hope something bad hasn't happened to them.
But I would certainly pay extra for the Bachelor's and the Changeling's campaign. What's here is already a full game, so they should totally charge for them if they ever get the chance to release them. I would pay as much as I did for the full game for each campaign tbh.
