So, are we never getting the other 2 characters stories?

Damn, this game is so good. I know it had a rough launch, and I am guessing the devs did not make as much money as planned. BUT COME ON, on my PC their is Zero lag, its challenging AND rewarding, the story is great, the price of 20-30 is fair, I would be willing to pay 30-40 bucks each for a full 7 day story line for each of the other two?

The game has been out for over a year and I haven't seen a SINGLE dev blog or update in relation to part 2 or three or anything.

Not in 2021 at least, the latest news we have is 2022, mid-late for Bachelor route

That new game they're working on seems to be taking up the bulk of their time and I think they said something about making a mobile game, too. It's unfortunate for sure. I know they were having problems before P2 was released, I assume recent downturns haven't helped much. Maybe we just need to BELIEVE harder

they are writing it afaik

probably arround next year we will have more updates bout it, since they are focusing on a whole new game this year.

They have one new game coming in which they said the mechanics for this unannounced new game will be based on the mechanics they are using for Daniil. So we'll know a bit more when it comes out

The Bachelor's route is in development. It's possible that the Russian invasion of Ukraine has affected development, but who knows. It might take a while for us to have all routes finished. But I don't think we have to worry about it being abandoned at any point. It is their passion project, after all

In a recent VK posted about a week ago in russian Ice-Pick has said (translated) "Nulli locutum nocet, nocet esse tacuisse, as the Bachelor said yesterday. We join him in saying that.". This phrase in latin means "No harm comes from remaining silent, harm comes from speaking". I take this to mean their silence on the bachelor route means that development is going well and proceeding.

It could also mean harm would come from speaking and if they said something about development it would hurt people to realise how far it is from being done.

Whereas keeping silent leaves the possibility

I really wanna see Clara's route. It was never finished in the original Pathologic. This game is their chance to finally give her a complete story

They have a different post about it without any latin phrases. And I think they wouldn't bring it up in "You can buy our older games on this site" kinda post

At first I really wanted the other two characters. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that Burkah's story in Pathologic 2 is more fleshed out than all 3 characters combined in Pathologic 1. And even with 1 character, it's still a full game and experience.

I would love the changling and bachelor, but at this point, I'm at peace never seeing them get the Pathologic 2 treatment.

But imagine if we could get a story for the other two characters that is just as fleshed out as the Haruspex is in 2... Idk, I can't get over how incredible it would be to get their perspectives and to finally have a completed Changeling story specially (since it was never finished in P1)
