Ready? Okay, we have had a few reports of the game not responding to the Z or C keys during the final fight with Satan. Unfortunately this is a hardware problem - certain keyboards do not accept input from more than 2 or 3 keys at one time. As this part of the game requires you to press 3 keys at once, if you are using one of these keyboards then the game will not react. As it’s an issue with hardware there is nothing that can be done in game to resolve this problem, however there are a couple of workarounds. Firstly you can use a controller or a different keyboard but if you do not have access to either of those you can use the on-screen keyboard to control the game.

Windows 10 users can find the on-screen keyboard by pressing the Windows button and typing On-Screen Keyboard, then selecting the displayed Desktop app.

Earlier Windows users will need to click the Start button > All Programs > Accessories > Ease of Access > On-Screen Keyboard.

I have the same problem but I solved it by
Connecting my other keybord and pressed A and D to block Satan's attack
and pressed Z and C to puch Satan with my normal keybord.

im not able to solve it with the alternative keyes but it didnt work. neither does the onscreen keyboard because windows 10 is really really user unfriendly and doesnt even tell you if its even possible to hold keyes by using it and in addition disappears if you press one single key. i switched keyboard region to france, because windows 10 doesnt even let you switch to any kind of native english speaking country. i guess i just cant finish the game like this.

Edit: i restarted the game afterwards too. didnt work.

Edit 2: My keyboard is a Roccat Iksu, i put the a and d keys to 1 and 2 and then i could press o again. #effort

Thanks, heped me a lot and was even easier with the on- screen keyboard, because it's harder too make a mistake :D

So I found this out recently. For the final part, you know where you have to push Satan to the edge, you can use your left and right arrow keys to move Sam. Hope this helps

I have a different problem: I managed to reduce his patience by 1 and then I have to walk, block, duck, block again but then he does another strike from above, which I can't block. I tried keeping the block up and releasing and blocking again, doesn't work. I also tried getting up but there's not enough time in between. What do I do?

I haven't had any keyboard issues before and the first two times I can block without difficulty, just when I have to do it twice in a row it does not seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

it's been seven and a half year and nobody mentioned it...?

this game uses C and Z for controlling the legs - and has NO keyboard rebinding menu.

I have a german keyboard. do you know where my Z is? *yawn*

I'm so bloody pi$$ed by developers that care a fark about keyboard layouts...

I take it the keyboard and mouse controls are not rebindable, while the game features action and reaction-based gameplay and even non-disabled players have issues with it? Is it so hard to implement a basic accessibility functionality? I'd understand if it was a free student project, but it is a commercial art. There are even voice actors who are more of a resource sink.
