Bug? Mission 4 - Train Won't Load
So I built a small railyard at a timber/wood resource (martin something - far SE of playable map for the Union). I think it worked for a bit, but now anytime a train goes there, it just sits and says "loading" ... forever. I've looked over my tracks repeatedly and see no issues, but wouldn't think that would result in an infinite "loading" message anyhow.

Anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks!

Is it really infinite waiting? If not, the demand is fulfilled. Each City will only hold so many of the goods they demand. The goods in their warehouse and goods on trains destined for the City all count. Trains won't load more goods than that limit, which is the common cause of slow loading.

As chaney explained...

Btw wording matters: "anytime a train goes there" implies that a train can enter the station. That's only possible when the former "loading ... forever" train has left the station. That's not infinite but a long time... as chaney explained.

Thank you for your responses! Let me provide more info - the station is wood and is hooked into a warehouse, which is demanding wood. The warehouse is empty. The warehouse is conencted to a city with a large demand for wood (has a lumberyard) and no wood. When I say "every time" that is based on having deleted the train thinking it was something to do with it, but the next train pulls in, and again just sits. Forever. With the gray pop-up tab and the message "Train is loading". I have also tried reducing the slider on the station/route from minimum 8 cars to 0 cars and still no luck.

It could be something else I'm missing - which is why I'm asking .... But its not a demand issue.

aha! I discovered my problem. I R NOOB. Warehouse is demanding lumber (processed wood), which i failed to appreciate. This is raw wood. My error. Regardless, your responses made me double check it all - so thank you!!

As chaney explained... the demand for Wood was always fulfilled ;)
