Innovation Points.

I was looking for a mod that would simply increase the innovation points to a better level. During the Campaigns you get 40 points per month, but in free mode it is only 14 per month, that makes it really, really slow to advance. Is it possible to make a mod that increases the points across all games/scenarios, or is it necessary to create a new scenario for each existing scenario simply to edit the innovation points?

You have to do it by scenario.

I think you will find that the 14 points per day is a result of you selecting 100 year mode. This mode has one combined tech tree instead of two, engines + business. If you select a 20 year span in free mode you will get the default 40 per month.

Ok, Thanks, I will check it out. At 14 per month I got from 1830 to 1868 and my tech was stuck in the early 1840s, nearly 30 yrs behind. If I have to mod each scenario, it isn't that bad, I found it quite easy to make that simple modification.

I think using Trickster as main character also gives less innovation points per month.
