I"am new, how do I start a mod in Railway Empire ?

Hi friends, I"am new in the game and I like to start playing a first mod. Can you explain step by step how to play it. First I found the folder steamworkshop on my PC. There are .♥♥♥ files. What I have to do to see the mods in my game and start the mod. Thanks for your various answers.

Ok. When you subcribe to a mod in the steam workshop it will show up in the Scenarios section after you restart the game. There are obviously various regions like East, South, Midwest, etc.: make sure you are looking in the right one.

Mods have a special symbol instead of the star used by the regular scenarios. If you follow the link I gave above, the last image on that page will show you an example of how a mod should appear.

Hallo gardit, thanks for your answer, please write down the link, for example I have downloaded the Austria Railway Mod,, where can I find that on what map, I dont have an Austria Map, even not published. On the american map`I look again, and may be you can also look an tell me. THX. again.

Ah. The "Austria" map is really an American one but with Austrian town names. The first line of the description says "You find this Mod in Scenarios -> North."

On the hotfix release the description and title of modded scenarios is showing up as blank for me. But there are other features in progress so I will hope that this is automatically resolved when the beta is updated to 1.8.

Hi gardit. It no show up in the Scenarios section after I restart my game. Even not the steam symbol in North, west and so one. I found in my steam program one folder steamworkshop. In this folder than I see .♥♥♥ files. Do I have to copy this files ?? into an other folder ?? that the game recognize the mods. This I had to do with modmaps in civilisazion 5. If there is a way please discribe what I have copy to other folder. ??? Thx.

I have subscribed to over a dozen mods, including the Austria one yesterday, and they all showed up in the Scenarios section correctly. I never moved any files around. I imagine moving files manually is more likely to break something than fix it.

I have no idea why they wouldn't show up for you. Did you try other mods? Have you disabled Steam cloud for the game? What version number is in your lower right corner?
