There are some changes that did not make it into the release-version of Railway Empire, simply as the console-version can not be updated ad hoc as the PC-version, as it needs to be tested and approved by Sony/Microsoft in addition.
Same applies for those specific changes we are planning and currently working on.
When those will hit consoles and if all will do so, we simply have to see during development and after we have implemented this on Steam.
Thank you for your kind words and feedback.

Anyway, thanks for releasing this on the consoles. We don't get many games that require the least bit of thinking or strategy or any simulations. It is a preorder I do not regret and am actually hoping for DLC content, which is pretty much a first.
It is really well made, didn't crash once and I only found one minor bug, namely that sometimes (very rarely) pieces of track won't be built. This is always (if it happens) when I build a piece of track that connects to an existing track with a switch (never when placing switches between double tracks). It will deduct the money and part of the track will be build and another part will be invisible. Trains cannot use the invisible part and you cannot simply build the track anew because the computer thinks it is there, so you have to hunt around with the demolish tool until you find and demolish it.
Aside from that, I would only recommend that the radial menu snaps to the choices. Like it only highlights one choice and then snaps to the next when moving the stick. I had it so very often that the selector was between choices and it was a guess what will be activated. As we don't have a mouse/keyboard, this was my only gripe with the game and way more annoying than the invisible track bug.
And thanks for not putting in any multiplayer. No sarcasm.
Personally I think the AI (single tracks etc) is completely fine. The manual signalling and no waypoints is also fine and easy to work around anyway.
But please do try to put the new full map on the PS4. That would be excellent.
PS, finished the campaign last night. No problems with promontory point.
Also would it be possible to add in the city of Detroit or some logging camps in Michigan? During the 19th century the logging industry (facilitated by the railroads) made up a large portion of the state’s economy. Plus Grand Rapids (a city that is in the game) became a major exporter of wooden furniture via the railroads.
actually our developers are busy getting this stuff done, as well as our QAs already testing.
Nevertheless be aware that, as already explained, Sony and Microsoft also have to test and approve those updates, before they hit the live services.
So stay tuned.

as you might have seen PC and console version are on the same version now.
Both platforms are now using and running version 1.3.
