Stuck on Tutorial

Guy keeps saying to make a connection between rural corn place and Norfolk. have done this and the tutorial is not advancing. pls help

Can you make a 'round trip' on this connection or the line interrupted by a dead-end platform track or a one-way signal?

You MUST make a stop in the other City (Omaha?) as the task says "via" that City. The translation is not clear. This tutorial has other problems, please search the forum as they have been discussed many many many times. The game gets better after this first poor tutorial.

Just started it to make sure things weren't messed up in a resent update - it still works like a charm. Just follow the light, you know, these columns of light that show you the spots within the green circles you have to click - in this case adding the stations you were told to add.

Yes, the tutorial can be unforgiving when you don't do like you're told. But other than that it works. And you've nearly reached its end...

Also check the Youtube videos that step you through this tutorial.

Basically, you need to follow the instructions exactly, in order. No more, no less. Doing your own thing doesn't work.... at all.

I really don't understand how people have issues with the first campaign (tutorial). It's easy to understand if you just keep your eyes and ears open, and actually listen what the guy is telling you before jumping into action.

Agree, akuarmoton, that's the point. But a lot of players are not willing to do that. They always skip a tutorial, never read a guide, never take a look at a YouTube video and often end up complaining about the game.

(Believe OP isn't one of them).

I did find the first tutorial unclear. The best example was in delivering corn "via" Omaha (?) since generally the word "via" does not require a stop but the tutorial does. I'm used to finding things unclear, so it didn't really stand out to me how problematic the communication was, but lots of people do express trouble. Language and communication may be totally clear between some people but confusing to others. It depends on personal experience with a language and also on how one thinks about things ... and both of those will vary widely among people.
